got phone calls on landline voicemail asking to ring back on a 0203 number to discuss something but don't tell me what, and if I don't they threaten court action, English sounding woman saying all this, her voice gets quite nasty at the end.  Just been deleting the calls.  When I have picked up from that number(on the display) guess what... no answer.  Think its a scam

Keeps calling but leaves no message. I have a simple rule if it's from someone important they will leave a message.

If I see 0203 I let go to answer phone but sometimes it goes to ring tone on speaker which I  can only stop by unpluging phone line

Several times a day I get 0203 4750076 which I do not answer as "Caller display" tells me it ia not a number I have dealings with!

Male says my washing machine insurance cover is out of date and I  should renew it. I dont have any such insurance.

Have recently been plagued by a pop-up on one of my old operating systems, claiming to be from Microsoft engineers who had "detected a fault/virus" on my computer. This is highly unlikely. In order to remove this, they will ask for your IP address before asking for bank details and charging £30 to remove it. Have none of this! Give no-one any means of accessing your computer, unless you know and trust them. I am now retired but used to earn good money removing viruses from computer and ensuring that they were not re-infected.

Called from a 0203 3935401 displayed number, male caller introduced himself by saying my name and that he had contact via an email with me last year Aug 2018. (False) quoted a wanadoo. (fs mail address - an orange address - which was closed by orange some five years ago) - The call was about investments (obviously a scam) I asked them if they were regulated to which he replied that they are awaiting confirmation reiterated the compant name of ST Global (No trace on internet of that company or the above number)…..please be aware and watc your bank balance.

received a call this morning 15/4/19 pretending to ATC cover for my washing machine.  asked questions that if I had cover, a company would know.  told me that cover renewal would be reduced from £102 per annum to £66 for year so to sign up for 3 years saving me £120 per annum.  He said that if I renewed now they would be 'out of my hair for the next 3 years' which sounded dodgy to me.  He used an incorrect name for me (always know this is phishing) asked questions about the appliance that should have been known and insisting on renewing for 3 years cover with no paperwork all seemed suspicious. After a loud aggressive monologue about their service, I said 'ok' to acknowledge he'd come to the end of his patter.  He then said 'I'll go ahead and get that all sorted out for you. '  I told him 'ok' was not an agreement to a sale but an acknowledgement that he had come up for air and I was now ready to talk.   He then said 'so you don't want it' to which I responded I was in the middle of detailed work, hadn't expected a call and would prefer the paperwork before making any decisions and that I hoped the call was being recorded.  He then put the phone down on me.  I dialled 1471. The number was 0203 838 2946 and when tried to return the call the message is 'we're sorry your call did not go through'.  Can only assume the next part of the conversation would have been to obtain my bank details.  Beware.
