Report a phone call from 02030043198 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- AmandaThese people call me 5-10 times during a week at least once a month. Stating they are working on behalf of the government. Who do I complain to? Anyone know? They are down right rude and need to be taught a lesson.
- Caller: 3C?
- KristianMe too!! They keep calling and using Enlish sounding names with their Asian sounding accents!! This all started for me after the working family tax credits disc got "lost in the post"!! I get at least 1 call a day if I answer and at least 10 calls a day if I dont answer. Every time they appologise for wasting my time and promise to delete me from thier calling list. One day I asked for the manager and told him I wished to be removed from the database. Following that I recieved no calls for a couple of months. The sure as the day is long they started calling me daily again!!! There must be something we can do??
- AlisonBeing harassed constantly even at 8pm weekdays and on sundays- glad i found this site as I will answer next time and tell them to ******* off.
- PeteThis is "Global Credit Management" - they claim to be following a Government Directive to help households through the "Credit Crunch" - really it's just a pitch to get you to consolidate your debts - tell them you're "X" directory and they "promise" not to call you again.
- suei have had this number doing all the things you lot have too for months now!
but i called bt and barred the number on their "choose to Refuse" option
see if this works...will let you know. - vickyI have had 9 phone calls from this number today, I haev caller ID and an answer machine but he never leaves a message. I have today talked to this gentleman on 7 of the 9 occasions and asked him, told him and finally informed him if he continues to call i will have him reported for phone nusinace. Nothing works. Surely phoning up and hanging up all hours of the day is harrassment.
- jothis number called at 10.38 then again at 10.52am,when i pick up the phone it goes dead!please give it a rest, and leave me alone!!!!
- PaulieSick of these idiots.
They phone my house phone which I never pick up anyway.- Caller: Dak Rip Off Ltd
- CassieJust called me - asian/indian accent - asked for someone else first - only had line installed yesterday and new number! Apparently there is a government grant to help write off unsecured debts - didn't find out anything else cos I hung up - can't be bothered with them
- LauraThis number keeps calling on my direct line at work and also my managers and when we call it back it keeps ringing out. It's getting really annoying now!
- Vera HarrisI,m fed up with these calls, I,m getting so many and I want them stopped
- angry from Bognor!I have had more than 30 calls this year from numbers 02030043198, 199 and other numbers in that series. BT say "sorry not much we can do for you", I'm getting slowly towards my wits end. My wife and I are disabled, and my wife has a mental condition which is being aggravated by all this. When they call they sometimes simply hang up and sometimes they ask for someone who never lived here! It's always an asian male calling, who gets quite rude when I try to find out who is calling. I am ex directory and listed on tps, but they still call.
- Steve02030043198 ALL THE TIME ASKS FOR MR HARRIS THIS TIME AFTER 4 WEEKS OF PESTERING AND CALLS AFTER MIDNIGHT I TOLD HIM TO F**K HIMSELF AND IF HE CALLED AGAIN I WOULD PAY HIM A VISIT VERY RUDE AND IGNORANT GUY IF THATS WHAT YOU CAN CALL HIM ASIAN OR INDIAN I COULD THINK OF SOMETHING BETTER
- even more angry from BognorI have now spoken to talktalk, who supply my second line, which also gets calls from this number, the best they can offer is "last caller barring" which will cost me £3.50 a month. Why should I have to pay to stop someone harassing me? The only other advice they could give was to report the calls to the police, and then supply talktalk with the crime number. They would then get a private investigation company to follow it up! Seems to be a lot of trouble for me to protect my basic rights of privacy.
- seething with anger in Bognor!I have now been in touch with ofcom and the ICO. I have given them all the details of the calls that I have logged, as well as a link to this page, to show that mine is not a lone complaint. I would urge all of you with this problem to contact ofcom, and follow the relevant links to register complaints. The more we complain the better the chance of getting it sorted! Life is too short to have to worry about this sort of C**P!
- ClareI have had these phone calls for the past 7 weeks, I get about 4 a week on a good week, usally alot more, well today they phoned me and again when I asked them to take my details off there files, they hung up..I rang them back and have told them it sounds like a scam as our goverment wouldnt cold call me, and I also surgested that the employees went on a customer sevice course. I told them that I was recording the call for legal and safty requierments and if I am contacted again I would be taking legal action against them
- DawnI have been called over 100 times by this number over the last few weeks and when I call back number is not recognised!
I have just received the call again and he was waffling on, asked how I was and I said yeah whatever get on with it, he said 'oh that sounds lovely'!
Anyway I proceeded with 'you're talking about an IVA' and 'I sort my own stuff out' and 'I am asking you to take me off your database and by law......' the F'er hung up!
For the first time I called back immediately and it rang and I got through to 'customer service' after screaming how rude the prick was who called me I finished by saying by law if you are asked to take me off your database you mush and they have said they will. Yeah yeah I know, some chance!
I know where they got my number though. I applied for a loan nearly 2 years ago through a broker (tenant loans for people with dodgy credit history) and they got my name wrong. This is the name that these people used when they called me! I will now be looking for the company because I asked them 2 years ago to take me off their database and now I know they haven't. They are in the UK so should have done so.
Rant over. Thanks if you read it.- Caller: Global Credit Management
- Dawn...againOne more thing, I noticed there's a link in comment above which takes you to 'Call Prevention Registry'.
Just be aware that they charge £35.75 for a 12 months subscription. Unless you go first to FAQ's this isn't immediately obvious. Even if you register, when they call they don't mention the fee until way into the conversation, so just be careful. They may be a legit company and they may be able to do what they say but I just don't think people should pay for it.
I may be in the minority but I don't see why we should have to pay 'not' to receive calls from these people when it is already against the law for people to call you if you have already told them to stop. - MargaretI had this no. call me twice within 5 minutes,,,i was busy and like the rest of us my son wont answer unrecognisable no.'s,,after checking out the no. on this page i just decided to call it,,,,an automated response goes on to say that the person i am calling has hung up! Whats good for the goose an all that,,,,,i will answer them in future though, and after good advice from this site, whoever they ask for, i will say can you hang on a sec,,,,then leave the phone in the loo or wherever for a wee while,,,,maybe then they will get the message, love this site,,,,it has made me relax more an know that i havent done anything wrong, with all these strange callers.
- alanI have now had over 30 calls from this company in the last 6 weeks. I have asked time and time again for my number to be removed from their system and i have been assured on 4 or 5 occassions that this will be done. To date this has not obviously happened. The calls come from Global Credit Management and i am now taking this matter to my solicitor on the grounds of harrassment.
