    Had a call from this number again today, even though we have a call blocker machine! For those who have never heard of a call blocker, it is a machine which answers all calls with a message that no calls are welcome other than friends and family and that the caller will need to press the number 5 to continue.Once you press 5, only then will our phone ring.If you don't press 5, we will never know you called.Superb! This machine stopped almost all annoying calls we had and we never had a silent call again, but it would appear that today, someone was prepared to press 5 and still call us even though the message suggests they don't.

    As you can't seem to stop these ar##holes, I decided in the past I may aswell just have fun with them, so who ever they asked for, I would just say "I will just get them for you" and leave the phone off the hook (and see how long I could keep them hanging), or would simply say "speaking" when they asked for a name.If they wish to ignore the call blocker message and start calling us again, I shall  simply continue having fun with them I guess.

    I have set up a petition on The 10 Downing Street website calling for a ban on these people and all other call centres based in India making thses nuisance calls.

    Had 2 calls around 4.40pm today.

    They are added to my phone blacklist so the call didn't get through
    Only noticed iot when I checked the call logs tonight

    Had 5 calls from these this morning while decorating - managed to break off it time to answer two and told them in no uncertain terms to remove our number as we're ex-directory...
    Still had a further 2 calls from them - might just answer and leave it off the hook as suggested next time...

    I have been called twice today (Christmas Eve)by Money Manager UK.  Let's just see if I get called tomorrow...!I have paid £35 to get these stopped but to no avail. I definitely think I should give them Gordon Brown's number and then we might get a result!

    The caller is a machine.  If you answer the call the connection is passed to a call handler.  It saves them actually dialing the phone and waiting for an answer.  If you had waited a few seconds you would have been passed to one of these idiots. I have already reported them to watchdog and TPS.  I'm an optimist if nothing else! lol

    Hi all, after some time recieving nuisance calls from this number, i did a lot of research into it. Basically it is a fake company and also has other sister companies, it is owned by a couple of Indian crooks. The 02030043198 is simply their smokescreen automatic switchboard number that they are routed through from the call centre in wotever country they are in. The only company of theirs that you can actually get hold of is one of the numerous dodgy finance companies. The number is 01162689900. Ring this number and tell them that you are TPS registered and that you will be forwarding their calls to the police and they are breaking the law and they will take you off the system.

    02030043198  frequent call. asian person speaking saying they were from a government scheme to help me with my unsecured debts.  I haven't any debt full stop!!! i went along with it to get more information.  they had my telephone number and name and address even though i am registered with both telephone and mailing preference service.  I was transferred to someone from one debt he reufused to tell me how they had my details or to let me speak to his manager.  their telephone number is 08004080501.  Just imagine how easy it would be to give them a taste of their own medicine with lots of calls

    They keep calling my number too aswell as a few others unwanted numbers calling me on a regular basis, I can't get my number changed as I am with talk talk, I am ex-directory and on the TPS register as 'Do not call' as it is a disabled household, yet they still call me at all hours of the day and night, I am left with no choice but to never answer my phone, I have to do a 1471 call to find out who has called and if it is someone I know I have to call them back. These people/companies are calling numbers that are illegal to call and getting away with it, something else needs to be put in place by the government to stop these people from accessing your details and harassing everyone with unwanted sales calls and information stealing.

    A quick note on TPS guys, TPS will only protect you against sales and marketing calls and not against surveys as some people have suggested here.

    Unfortunatly this company (the call center in india) mainly do surveys and as such it is hard to pin down which calls made by them are sales and marketing and which are surveys.
    Also TPS can deal with companies calling in from abroad if they or the client they are calling on behalf of have an office in the UK (most do!).

    In this particular case these calls indicate that they are comming from a telemarketing agency abroad that are working on behalf of uk companies and, as such, the UK companies that employ their services are liable for the Sales calls to TPS numbers and can be fined. Some companies recently have been fined for this activity, (£5000 per complaint).

    Wish these idiots would slip up and leave a real number so they could be caught, no such luck yet though!

    Guess what, complain and these creeps can be fines two million pounds and ofcom say they will not hesitate to fine that amount, up from the max fifty thousand max that it used to be.
    Barclaycard is one of the worst. But the calls most of you get with no one at the end are because a computer dials several calls at once, the operator actually has some one answer one call so is not available to take yours. Ofcom says these 'silent' calls are from market research and cold call companies on behalf of banks, kitchen builders,sportsware companies, all sorts of places hire them, but using computers to make the calls and not having enough [***] to take the calls is going to cost them/close them down two million pounds now. yippy.. bbc news story  http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-12331160
    ps most of these companies also mask there numbers and can even appear to come from another country .. Ant marketing appears to be the worst for this for some time now, and they just got bigger and bought new buildings etc lets shut them down, please take the number/time etc and complain online to offcom
