calls my mobile every day! complete pain in the a**e , anyone know who these are?

first time saw this number today
where do they get my numbers from if no one knows my landline?

Got this call today from this number. They are debt collectors acting for Captial One, they wanted to know my details but when I asked them, how they got my number they got all defensive saying that they couldn't give that information, but they expected me to just tell them my life story. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
THEY ARE DEBT COLLECTORS!

They keep calling my mobile, answered first time, lots of Asian girls voices in background, sound like call centre. Also started texting last week, also number 002348088675655, three or four times a day. Not debt collectors more like telephone except call scam, take money off your calls, say £3 a minute your on their line. Block the call if you can.

received call today. asked for post code and door number as security questions. then asked for a previous post code when i informed them id lived here ten years they replied they must have the wrong person. they introduced themseleves as a company working on behalf of british gas. oh forgot to add they asked for me by name then at the end said that it must be another mr bone (thats not my name)

British Gas, then they must be debt collectors looking for people on behalf of other companies. The person who I spoke to was english and not asian. I stand by what I say. They are debt collectors.

Why would a debt collector be calling me?

I'm worried and can't call them back! Any advice?

Had a missed call from this number. Didn't answer it as i was sleeping at the time. I would like to know how they have my number as only people i know have got it. If they are debt collectors, then they're barking up the wrong tree as I'm up to date on all my payments

Had another call from them today, I answered but nothing on the other end, then they hung up... If they are debt collectors I'd quite like to speak to them and sort whatever this is out, I'm sure I don't owe anyone any money...

got a call from this number today (very early) the line went dead as soon as I answered and now I think of it this is getting more frequent?!? pain in the but.

this number keeps callin they are gettin a pain in the ass the one time i got to speak to someone they said the was a company called jdg and then asked for a random guy i would tell them he doesnt live here but they keep on calling

this is a company called btw group + associates they are like a debt collection mine was regarding my e-on gas bill but i gather they collect for many companies.

Had a call yesterday and there was nothing on the other end! Called them bak but says I can't.
Had a call today and someone asked for a name, I said who?, then they hung up.....

We have caller display, this number appears at least once a day.

ive had several calls but as soon as i answer and say hello theres quiet for a few seconds and then it hangs up. its getting very annoying now!

I have had a few calls from this number, never answer it, someone on here said its debt collectors for capital one? It cant be i have never had a credit card with capital one, the funny thing is if I am right next to my phone when it rings it only rings for a few seconds then cuts off? are they expecting me to call them back ha well they will be waiting a long time.

camilla, I know its frustrating and annoying when they keep calling, but just try and ignore it I know its hard, at one point I was getting about 15 calls a day and I never answered that annoys them even more because I know if i kept trying to call someone and they never answered i would be very angry so just keep ignoring them it worked for me, i only get one call a day now if that, so keep ur chin up.
