had 14 calls from this number - usually igone , have picked just get a dead line, also sometime force th call to answerphone - nothing they hangup

Ive reported them to teh TPS.

if you keep getting calls and no messages or a person answers.

this number keeps calling my home and mob number but i answer and no one is there getting fed up with it rang the number bk and says cant call this number..................

When are these people going to understand that harassing people gets them no where. Don't get upset or stressed. They are in the wrong, not you. Don't answer any of their questions and hang up.

They are Buchanan, Clark and Wells they act on behalf of quite a few companies they phone me for an orange debt and I have had them pestering me before for a capital one debt and o2 which were on a debt management plan I had but they still phoned me all the time and at the most inconveinient times too, they can become very rude accused me of lying about having a debt plan etc. Avoid their calls talk to the company there acting on behalf of get things sorted a lot better!

Yes confirmed, Buchanan Clark & Wells, DCA. I was left a message on my answering machine in one of those automated robotic voices yesterday to call a 0844 number and quote a ref number. I really don’t know what debt they are chasing me for, and I don’t intend to find out by calling them. As a rule of thumb I just ignore DCA's like these, because if you respond they'll have their claws in you and won't let go!

Also multiple calls from this number. They do not take incoming calls. They do not leave a voicemail.  I also want to ask if anyone gets calls, which are from people who say they think they are calling a railway station or cinema hall-sorry wrong number, and then the call gets taped and sent to you as email attachement

If you call the number back it says it's reserved for outgoing calls only, for BCW group, I then googled and found out that they are Buchanan, Clark and Wells, a debt company of some sort.

My phone rang with this number, I rejected it and then got a text message to call 'Urgently' on this number. I didn't call back. It's not my mums number, it's not my childminders number, it's not any of my friends numbers and BCW Group is not the police so I didn't see it as 'urgent'.

It is Buchanan, Clark and Wells. Calling on behalf of HSBC in my case. Chasing a debt (which i don't owe and they had no details of!). Officially a solicitor i think.

Asked to speak to a person who I have never heard of, quite polite.

We've had these guys calling a number of times - asking for my husband - saying it's a private financial matter that they can't discuss with me - and as they haven't got past me now they send an automated message saying please call Buchannan, Clark & Wells....we have now barred that number from calling us...

Had the same when i asked who wanted to know they said we cant tell you before you confirm your details i was like dont think so..they they said oh well proceed with out your co-operation than abruptly hung up..

Had a call from these people on April 2. Left a message on voicemail, but couldn't understand a word that was said, it was so rushed and garbled.

They continuosly call me, sometimes several times a day and for days in succession.  I've had gaps of a few weeks where they have clearly got fed up of harrassing me. As do most people, I have caller display so I can choose who I answer my phone to,  This does not stop them sending text messages. It does bother me tthough that tthey, or anyone else are free to intrude  on so many individuals.  With so many complaints against them on the the web, is there nobody who can bring them to account?

Like others have said, if you have no idea as to why these people are calling you DO NOT CONFIRM WHO YOU ARE, DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR ADDRESS OR DATE OF BIRTH! Tell them to have a nice day and put the phone down. These people are bullies who prey on those who don't have a clue and are weak.


There was a news story a few years ago when people like these hounded a woman for a debt she didn't owe. With the amount of phone calls and letters she received, it all got too much for her and she committed suicide. These people are scum and nothing but evil.

They called to day and asked for someone who does not and never has lived here, said they are calling on behalf of T mobile regarding an account not sure if he said outstanding, as it was a bit hard to understand him, I said I am not on T mobile, and we have lived here for 20 years, he desperately wanted my address, as he told me we will receive letters from them and he can only stop them if I give him my address he said he will cancel my phone number but not the letters unless I give him my address! I told him to get lost! and now will wait to see what happens next!

THEY ARE JUST A BUNCH OF F.U.C.K.I.N.G. C.U.N.T.S AND NEED TO ROT IN HELL. THEY NEVER LEAVE ME ALONE.

02030128157, Buchanan Clark & Wells, (Googled it) a debt collecting company called me and asked for me by name. They insisted they "had been doing business with me for some time" and wanted me to disclose my date of birth. Request declined - (data protection act). Caller hung up. They also called themselves "BCW" during the call.

Sounded like a trickster. Further searching reveals this company is involved in debt fraud.
