silent call no one answers, then hangs up rings 3-4 times daily . fed up.

I get home most days to find this number has called me. This has been going on for the past couple of months. I never bother calling back numbers I don't recognise and I certainly wouldn't be without my caller ID. I've been registered with TPS for years but every few months I get bombarded with spam calls, different numbers all the time. I suggest screening and ignoring the calls. Let them waste their time, don't let them waste yours.    

had a call from this number last night on my business direct line at 8pm. why is it that we cannot stop them.  These are a pest, we seemed to be able to stop useless callers to our front door, but not on our computer, phone or mobile, Isnt it about time we put our foot down and do something about it

Had a call from 0203 1291891 said they were from BT about the computer said it had a virus wanted me to connect to computer to sort the problem.
On checking the number it is NOT registered to BT

Loads of calls a day from this number but when I answer just silence. Tried to call back once but told the service was unavailable.

Several silent calls from this number. We are registered with the TPS, but it seems to make no difference!

We are getting silent (crackly) from this number too.  We're not with Sky and never have been so it's not from them.

Had a call from this number today - very difficult to understand the call who spoke very poor English but claimed to be calling from Microsoft so undoubtedly another bunch of scammers

Just received a call from 02031291891 saying he was from windows and asked if I could hear him then put the phone down?????  Complete nuisance....

Frequent calls from this number claiming to be anything from Windows to today's 'People Today' who were carrying out a survey of households - rapidly getting fed up of these characters with their daily intrusive calls.

Just had a call from this number - it's now barred!

Asian sounding voice , said his name was Mike , he was calling from Microsoft , and new I had a Windows operating system , and my computer was infected and he would clean it up , My response was ; do you think I am stupid ?? and told him I didn't believe him , .....HE told me to go to hell you mother F!£$%& and hung up . So I guess he wasn't from Microsoft  !!

This number rang me at 6.01 pm today.  I answered but the line went dead, so I tried calling back only to be told that the number did not exist.  I wonder whether these are the same people who have been pestering me more than 6 times a day on an international number.  

Silent call as reported by many others.  I wish we could stop this...

Another call from this number to spoil my morning.  I decided to follow a suggestion from someone else and keep pressing the hash key.  After pressing it innumerable times and enjoying the frustration from the person on the other end of the phone, he hung up!

Have had a BT6500 since March last year and it really is great.  I checked my call log earlier today and there had been six calls. four International and two Withheld.  However, as the 'phone didn't ring and they can't leave a message I wasn't disturbed at all.  The only problem I had was because my youngest son lives in Oz and his calls couldn't get through, even though his number is in my contact list.  This was easily sorted as I just get him to text first so I can unblock the 'phone.

Received a call from this number a while back.  Asian male claiming to be from Microsoft Tech Dept.  He told me my computer was infected, and to prove who he was he asked me to look up a something on my computer that he claimed was my MS licence number.  I know a bit about computers and it was not my licence number ... nor was this Microsoft; he was talking BS and trying to scam me.  Take care friends.

Long pause when I answered (automated dialler?), then a faint crackly Asian-sounding man asking for x. I didn't confirm whether I was this person or not, but asked what the call was regarding. He said it was a survey. I politely told him that we don't do surveys and would he please make a note that we're registered with TPS, thank you. Then I put the phone down.
From the look of the other posts on here, another bunch of data-miners/scammers.
