Just had a call from 02031291891 - this is scam.  They want to access your pc/laptop by claiming they are from Windows and need to do an update.  I've had many called like this, perhaps not all from this number, and I usually try to string them along for a while if I have the time.  My best one was stringing them along for around 49 minutes, only to then hang up as dinner was ready.  They called back the next day and after another 30+ minutes I told them I didn't own a computer!  Even the guy at the other end of the line laughed when he realised I'd fooled them.  Not heard from them for a while, but just hung up as I don't have time to 'play' with them today.

Also, another good way to get them is to agree to do what ever they want, but first you wish to pray with them.  If they agree, just make up the most bizarre prayer & keep it going for ages.  Once finished, say you need to get them to hold on for a minute of silent prayer & just leave them on the line for ages!  Brilliant fun & wastes their phone call & time!

At least while he's doing this, no one else is getting ripped off by the same caller...........

just got call from the same number......i can understand everything. But my number is a bloody new number just one day.
yesterday activated from ''sky talk''...how they found it????? something smell very bad there!!!

02031291891 call often asking if anyone was in car accident.  I never engage in conversation just say no.

Had 3 calls in the space of 30 minutes all telling me about problems with my computer and wanting me to open my computer files so the can "clean them". 2 men who sounded Dutch and an Asian woman. I am also on TPS and do not think it is worthwhile

Had call from 02031291891 this morning-an Asian man who said he was from Microsoft, and told me me  my computer needed updating. He told me to go to my computer and he would talk me through what to do. I realised it must be a scam and put the phone down, but am EXTREMELY concerned for those who do as he asked. He sounded so genuine.

Had call from this number, Asian male, said he was to do with Windows IT!

Had a call from this no. At 10.06am today but no answer. It's very annoying!

When I said I didn't what to answer the questions as I was too old to talk about computers , the ethnic who called himself Tom and was calling about trouble with Microsoft windows  said I was a silly old woman who was going to die

Yep just received a call saying (sounded african origin) they were from WIndows... and they kindly wanted me to give them access to my pc to solve errors which were reported at their end... should have let them try since my router is dead and see how they got on... ;-) only managed to keep them on for 15 minutes. Anyway yet another scam...

keep getting calls from this number. )2031291891.......told the Asian man I was on TPS and he said he wasn't selling anything. he shouted at me so I shouted back....I hung up!! They tried to call back 3 times but I just left the answer machine pick it up....no message!!

Had 2 calls from this no this morning, when aswered the line goes dead.

Lady with a accent from the Indian subcontinent saying she was ringing from BT and that my broadband service was going to be cut-off.  That was enough for me to cut short her call.  I hung up as it smells like a scam.

This number has rung several times purporting to be from Microsoft Tech in response to an illegal download on our computer. Didn't give them a chance to ask for passwords. Just hung up. They keep ringing but we recognise the number now so don't answer. Might try the whistle blow down the line if it doesn't stop!

just a call from this number, this thick accented Asian male claimed to be a Kevin Brown from the technical team at Microsoft, to I replied ye of course you are and hung up !!

Just had this number, apparently my PC has downloaded malicious files! Told 'John Parker' I had a mac and he got flummoxed. Then I told him to get a proper job and stop trying to scam people!! He hung up. Scumbag!

I keep receiving silent calls at my office which is becoming very annoying.
