i am fed up getting calls from this number i am registered with tps

Several automated calls from this company -registered with TPS and no one here has any debts, fairly sure they are pursuing someone else who used to have this phone number several years ago

Just switched from BT to Virginmedia and within a few weeks I've had six calls from these tossers - I'm Ex-directory & registered with TPS. Thing is they don't let it ring for long enough for me to answer it.

I assume Virginmedia have re-issued an old number from someone in debt.

I had no worries they rung my parents house phone,  I answered and they asked to speak to someone and I told them that we haven't heard from that person in months and they said that hey will take this number off of thier list.

But she did ask to speak to him, with no attempt to introduce her self or the company she was representing.

I had to use this site to find out what it was actually for.

Is there a type of debt that these people go after?  Is it. Bills, phone contract, tv licensing or something like this??

Fraud company, ring you asking for your details, and once you give it to them, they steal your identity, beware!!!

the tw*ts are ringing my tablet which only has a sim in for 3g internet access

So they are calling every number in existence in the hope of conning people

Mine is obviously a mobile number and has never ever been registered to anyone I just went into
tmobile shop paid 20 quid for 6 months access and walked out.

I have been getting these calls for the last six years at least which I normally missed as my husband & I both worked.  I am now registered disable at at home and I am getting at least 6 calls aday not counting the sms texts to my land line.  I have turned off my answering machine and the sms still managing to get through with messages for a Charlene McAuley.  I have never heard of her and we have lived here for 22 years.  My husband phone this number several times and told them they had wrong number even asked to speak to manager but said he wasn't available.  He made quite a strong call last week and they rang us 10 mins later
this is becoming quite stressful as I feed myself on a drip and need to have my answer phone on for the hospital to contact me  We are both at the end of our tether PLEASE HELP thanks Eveline Sullivan 02890208179 Belfast

I got a phone call from this number and also an email from SRJ, asking about paying something (???) so pretty sure is them.

hey ......these have been ringing every day i told them we are currently going through an iva but they still wanted me to confirm name and address which i refused to do ....told them to email or send a letter which they said they couldnt do as they are a call centre .....they have noted on system i refused to agree to the data protection....and said they will continue to ring me every day .....can i get them blocked from ringing me does anyone know x

At 9.30pm last night, when I was tucked up in bed, this number 02031478620 called me, then again at 10.15pm and again at 10.45pm.  Getting extremely pissed off about this, as I have mobility problems and only have a landline downstairs.  The thing is, my phone number used to 'belong' to a woman in my town, who has the same first name as me. However, I've had this phone number for over 2 years now and this is really causing me grief.

If you have the Choose 2 Refuse service from BT this number does not automatically bar; you have to put your passkey in and enter it manually follwed by the hash key. That will work.

i have been getting txt msg's from this company for about a year now.The worry is that they put my husbands name on the txt just asking him to go to a web address and make a payment. My husband doesnt and never has owed anyone any money so dnt have k clue what its about. I went on the web address but it asks for a ref number which not knowing anything about this txt we dont have a referance number so have just ignored the txt. Now they have started ringing but have only had 3 calls so far of which i never answer numbers i dont know. I only found out it was the same people that had sent the txts when i went on this site. I will not answer at all now after reading all the posts on here but its a little worring where they have got my husbands name from. Oh and the number did ring once last year and my husband answered but it was just silence.  I have noticed that they only ever ring my mobile (dont have a landline ) when i have credit on it. So i dont know if i was to answer if it would take my calling credit from my phone. I dont intend to answer to find out tho. Thank god for sites like this at least we know who they are and hopefully if i never answer they may go away.

This is a genuine debt company, but I refuse to deal with them by phone as they are incredibly rude and demanding. I only acknowledged any debt after they wrote to me with the debt details and account numbers, this is how I knew it was genuine.  I pay them a small weekly amount, all they call for now is to try and demand higher payments, I just ignore the calls and pay them what I want to pay them.

Several calls from these rude people, asking for random people. Very rude so I just give loads of abuse to them if I actually speak to somebody... I find it quite funny to talk dirty to the women using very sexually explicit language..  I just tell them that I operate a sex line!!!

I am afraid that it will make no difference if you are registered with the TPS, as I am, because the method that has locked onto your number is a computer program that dials numbers randomly until some idiot (I am one too) answers and listens to their message. The options you are then provided with make no difference because as you have given them proof by answering their call that it is a live telephone line the calls will keep coming. BT are useless too because all they say is register with the TPS, who are also as useless as BT and all they do is to 'advise' you around in circles.
The company who is calling is pathetic little Debt Collection company who really should have their license to trade revoked by the government body with responsibility for that. THEY ARE NOT A BAILIFF company. Just a few tossers behind desks who enjoy bullying people at a distance. How pathetic is that? They should have been drowned at birth!

How can I stop the phone calls from these people to my mobile,its a recorded male voice I don't listen to the whole message in case I'm being charged for the call also if I ignore it it goes to voice mail which I go into thinking it is one of my friends till I here the same voice again. these people are a pest and should be sued.

i had a call from these i was not in but left message on my answer phone it was a pre recorded message asking sum bloke to contact them and left another number ive had many of thes but have no clues who the person is there looking for

now me keeps getting calls from them - Ive never answered my phone EVER to any number I dont know hence y Ive looked it up on here... fortunately they are phoning my mobile & now I know they r looking for money they can screw off... Ive added it to my reject list but it wont stop the txts coming thru from SRJ company

hehe - darn PO boxes!!! I`ll try to find out further by writing to them from another address, play them at their own game, see if i can find out their real address, sure a few of us wud like to pay them a visit

alternatively we could all group together, setup fake email accounts & BLAST THEM!!!
