Yeah, I worked for them when they were Aspire in 2009, it was 100% commission door to door in London in a similar style to pyramid scheme where you get some money for each person you get to sign to it and so does your boss and their boss. I worked in February, before anyone had actually put any posts about them, now I'm more cautious about what I apply for

I had a interview with company, it was all confusing. It was the same person who called me and was the same person interviewed me. Was saying something in the sense of company being est for ages, she looked totally scam, I have done little research company as just est, and talked to few people around came to know its commission only knocking on doors, to be honest the person who interview me also looked like Romanian gypsy by the dress sense. It's not a scam I only left cause I had a really really bad manager but it's NOT a scam I know cause the companies who they work for such as Scottish power are in fact aware these people are working for them.

Next time you apply for a office jobs always ask at the beginning if its commission based only.

I didn't even make any sales because the manager was solo bad and looollllll did I feel guilty going in people's houses I didn't know.... That's another reason, but trust me it's not a scam

but yeah i worked for Primus Uk in bath street, and the Brazilian guy was a BIG SCAMMER, i admit it, i'm not saying it cause its commission paid job, but because of his behavior towards "his" business. by the way i STILL have the rude text that he sent me before i decided to leave, and whats even worse he czlled me on the phone and then after i went to the office he made it look like he was firing me in front of duncan, so that proves A LOT that brazilian guy is a BIG scammer, thats not even it he even worse at me one day before i never came. i admit it is a scam but i can't speak for the rest i never worked for the others.

noooo way noooo way i know him on the photo, i think t was him, he came around my house knocked on my door i allowed him in he was very rude... i assume it was him cause all you people here are saying they do door to door sale. he came to my house trying to sell me electricity and gas, he was very rude... this happened a year ago...

Its clearly obvious that primus uk is a scam, I went on that guys facebook he claims on his Facebook he is helping people make more sales, but on the website he claims he is helping people get employed...and there are two same websites, saying different things! I googled it. Which doesn't add up. It's clearly a scam. I mean you surely cannot have 3 to 4 different names all in one business. This mike guy is clearly scamming people, everyone who is working for mike get out of there now before it's too late.

actually on the website it says he does both, he probably doesn't help people find jobs, just gets them to do door to door sales

I've had Dominion Acquisitions email me three times now with different jobs I've "applied for" - I only applied for one, through Reed, and so far none of the jobs match up with the original description. They finally emailed me with very vague "opportunities at their new office", and I'm meant to interview in a few hours. After reading this, I'm sure I won't go. Aside from the very basic website, their press releases claim that they've sponsored the Notting Hill Carnival for four consecutive years, when the company name was only registered in mid 2011.

Moreover, I've been given some Bond-esque instructions on how to reach the office, including names I should mention and doorbells to ring. The whole operation seems very suspect. I'm in a fortunate position in that I've got a number of interviews lined up for very well established companies, but things like this which prey on graduate desperation are sickening.

I agree... I haven't actually started working there yet but I am starting on Monday and all seems pretty clear to me they are pretty much forward about the commission and its does say 250-400 Pe OTE that usually means commission... And just because you don't know how to sell a product doesn't make it a scam ... Some have the skill some not.... And even better the better you are the more money you actually get

Honey what they do is not a scam, and doing no sales doesn't make it a scam..: But they are a scam because they are dishonest about the payment salary, long hours, its a pyramid scheme! and they do not speak to you in a respectful way... I'm sure a lot of managers in that office are nice and respectful, but my manager usually threatened me with violence, and I swear I was once threatened also with rape ( or maybe I heard wrong) but I'm sure I heard the word rape as he was threatening me.
