had a call from this number tried to get details of loans i have had to claim back the PPI for me as they gave me a post code which i have never lived at and a land line phone number i have never had thought ok made them struggle for 10 minutes before being handed to the supervisor who then hung up lol.

I have been getting this number ring me daily (sometimes 3 or 4 times a day)
I am usually at work when they ring so miss the call, I tried calling it back but get the automated message about an 'Echo Test'. I would really like to know how to get my number removed from their call list as this is now really grating on me.
I contacted O2 and they cant block individual numbers but have opted me out of any 3rd party calls. They suggested contacting my local police station and reporting the nuisance caller as they can track the company - I think this is the last resort as seems a little OTT.
I am tempted to contact Watchdog if it continues as there seems to be no way of speaking to anyone as if I do answer no-one says anything??!!!!! Very odd....

its a company called first call and they are trying to get loan details to claim back the ppi for you think it may be a scam as the only details they had on me was my mobile number they could'nt give me my name and gave me a phone number and post code i've never even used.

Yep, same as, said he was from "first call" and waffled some BS about reclaiming PPI..

I have been receiving calls from this number for 3 1/2 yrs. They always ask for Mrs Marsden - who has never lived here.
When I ask who they are or try to explain that I want to speak top the manager they ALWAYS hang up on me.
sometimesw I get as many as 10 calls a day. Last week I screamed VERY loudly down the phone and I didn't get another call until today. I asked the caller (asian-sounding lady) who she was calling for and she was extremely reluctant to tell me. I said I wouldn't 'call' mrs Marsden to the phone unless she said who she was calling for. She then said something un-intelligible so I asked her to spell it out.
First Call !!!!!
I then asked to speak to her manager to register a formal complaint and guess what?  Yep she hung up on me.

Seriously - try screaming down the phone.

I get calls from this company and i heard that when you get abusive to them they hang up but then leave a message on their own system saying, please call this customer back as he/she has requested this . lmfao pack of C_ NTS !!!!.  TO STOP THESE PHONE CALLS REGISTER ON A SITE CALLED (TPS)
TELEPHONE PREFERENCE SERVICES.  it takes about 28 days to set up and removes your number from all call centre listings, also if they keep calling you after this they can be taken to court from this website as it is illegal harassment.

Saved there number as ''scam'' and will get there number blocked.

I have now saved this number on my mobile as "block call/scam" so they will never get to speak to me. There does need to be a way though on how to ensure your number is removed from their database as these are faceless organisations. TPS is a waste of time as you will still get calls if they are generated from overseas as most of these are.

After about the fifteenth call in four dsays from this mob I answered the latest one by saying ''Good afternoon, Strathclyde Police can I help you? '' They soon hung up. Haven't heard from them for five days now so perhaps it worked.

Missed a call off these today but I don't answer these types of numbers anyway.....I always check these numbers on hear and after reading a few comments, I've added to contacts as spam and placed it in a group which rings silent!

I really can't be bothered with wasted my time taking to these companies!

These keep ringing me, havent a clue who they are...When ring it back it is Automated...What a joke I wouldnt pick up, if it was that important they should leave a message..Life isnt your own these days.

This number has just phoned my mobile and my VOIP geographic phone number. No idea who it is or how they have linked my mobile and VOIP number as being me.

had a call or 3 everyday for last 6wks off these. I answered today and a lovely asian bloke spoke. Before he had a chance to speak i rattled off 'Hello, PC West, Durham identity theft task force'. Phone then went dead quite quickly. Should prevent them from calling back.

hiya. 9 calls from this company in the last month.. the are called "Firstcall". i want to make a complaint about them bcoz i am sick of getting calls from them. when u call back it is an recording. each time the call up, they say about debt, ppi, giving me a refund on something i havnt done or heard about.
people email me, as im taking this to watch dog.

Got a few calls from this 'company'  They are called First Call. My number is with the TPS so should not be getting marketing calls.  When I asked where this company got my number they told me the banks database...rubbish!  
Phoned the bank to double check that they don't pass out customer details, they said that they don't under any circumstances.  
When I told this company that I was going to make a complaint and wanted to speak to the manager they put the phone down on me.

I keep getting calls from this number aswell.Been getting them for about a month now and at least twice a day.I didn't answer them but rang from a landline and it just says it's an echo test.So i guess it's a scam.I'm in the UK btw.I expect they've been sold our mobile numbers from a 3rd party data base.It makes me very angry!
I've added them to my mobile reject list but they still coming through,DOH!

they have been ringing both my home and mobile number 2-3 times a day answered it today they asked for me by name and said i would be getting a letter in the next few days bout ppi refunds.
i told him i havent got any ppi and asked him to remove my number from their recoeds to which he hung up RUDE people.
