Phone call at tea time, answered, nobody on other end. Very annoying.

Got a call today at 1.35pm from an indian man saying he was from First Call and it was about misselling of PPI.
Told him i didn't have PPI,the call was being recorded and would be passed to BT and the Police.

Rang again. Fortunately I've now got Caller ID so I don't answer these calls any more so they're wasting their time.

Why don't these people keep a record - I've told you before I DON'T AND NEVER HAVE HAD PPI!!

Got a call on Monday from this number and got an address in Manchester of the South African woman however tried the phone number she gave me and the message was this number for sale somebody work that one out for me

Missold insurance claims - said they were from First Call and it was not a cold call promised phone call from a consultant later today

These guys just called me from First Call Helpline offering me PPI pack

Same as everybody else. Cold calls for PPI claim. Our full name and address. We're also with the TPS. Wasting our time and money. Never call them back on 00 42070609336 (we didn't).
There addr: First Call Group, 220 Flanders Drive, Mount Edgecombe, Durban 4001, RSA. Did get their MD's name: Mr. Pranesh Rooplall. Maybe we could find out his home addr and phone number and bug him?
We asked them to write telling us what they wanted. Doubt we'll ever hear from them again, other than by annoying phone calls. With us they come up as @International' and we receive many calls from overseas for work and family/friends so need to answer.
Next time I'll use the 'you've called a crime scene' game or maybe pretend to be having sex!

received a call from this number 'first call group' regarding ppi they asked for me by my maiden name and knew my address. I did talk to the caller as i had been interested in doing this but before i would give any personal details over i thought here i'm just going to check out who you are on the computer . when i got first call group up there was a warning on the website that a company from south africa was calling pretending to be them and that they did not do ppi and would not cold call.  I told the caller this and ended the call.


I shall be checking out all cold calllers from now on!

How do I stop 1st call ringing me from this number almost every day despite telling them to remove me from their database?

Ring them back on 02070609336, they have another number to hand out to.suckers (or those they think are suckers!)

Do a number withhold using 141 and be very persistent, they clearly use Ip Telephony.

I went through 6 people, and bombarded them with calls in return until i found one with some common senae, told him I worked for the police and would cause a fuss in SA with their police unless they stopped calling me.

Worked finally!

A Call from 0207 0609 336 claiming to be First Call Group rang me on my phone which used to belong to my brother who died 7 years ago. The caller was foreign and just was a nuisance and using an out of date contact list

Just had a call from Amanda Berkeley at 1st Call Helpline telling me I was due an £1800 refund as soon as I questioned her closely she got agressive and hung up.

17:20 on 22 Nov 2012 - just got called by these people who freely gave me the following ...
"First Call", 220 Flanders Drive, Phoenix, South Africa. They also gave me their telephone
no even though it was withheld. The caller gave her name as, "Pranola".

They are chasing PPI claim commission.
