- evander| 13 repliesDealt with this scam company in the past and they sold me the following. These wines have at least a 100% mark up on them and I didn't even receive all the wines I purchased. The sales guy I spoke to was called Ari Sowe. Their number on their website is a firm that manages their calls. They wanted me to buy more wines from them but I smelt a RAT and decided not to reinvest and requested that they put my wines into my own storage bond. After 9 months I am still awaiting my last case of Chateau d'Yquem 2008. Do not deal with this company unless you want to be ripped off like me. Here's their other contact numbers they all forward to the same mobile number:

- Colleen Farquharson replies to evander| 5 repliesMy Father has just been scammed out of £13,200 ( his entire life savings ) from this company
They have sold him three bottles of wine and have repeatedly refused to refund the money, quoting the cooling off clause in their agreement which is against the law.
They have been unprofessional and completely unhelpful. They have recently asked us to open an account with London City Bond which we have refused to do, We have contacted Action Fraud, and also trading standards ( trading standards have taken our case and have called them and they found them very unprofessional ) They have used a couple of names when communicating, the first person who called was allegedly Emma Watson, then a sales person called Alexander Faulks called and after that another sales guy called Steve Collins called, He took the first £100 payment on a debit card and them asked for £3200.00 to be transferred into their account, he then called back two weeks later and took another £100 deposit and then a further £9.900 !! He even had the check to call back after that and ask for more but my Dad said no, We are extremly upset at all this and are hoping that by involving a solicitor who will be issuing statuory money demand , to tell prime trading5 to refund in 7 days, if they dont do this we will issue a winding up order which will result in bankruptcy for the company.
Did you ever follow any of these procedures and what was your outcome ?
my email is cpnewell@yahoo.com thanks Colleen - John replies to Colleen Farquharson| 1 replyArticle here on their sharp practices.

- Jim BuddHi evander
Prime Trading 5 Ltd are certainly a company to avoid. Although it appears that your wines arrived in your account some time ago you may well still have the option of cancelling at least some of the wines depending on the dates they were delivered to your account. This is because, if your case is similar to Colleen's, you were not told of your rights under the Consumer Contracts legislation, so you have a year from the end of the normal cancellation period of 14 days to cancel your order. For further details please contact me through my investdrinks blog. - FarkyschickThis is Colleen Farquharson posting again, After liaison my Fathers legal team Prime Trading 5 are now working to come to an agreement to refund the money my Father paid for the three cases of wine, Only time will tell if they stick by what they are proposing.

- StopPrimeTrading5These guys are conning the elderly out of thousands and thousands of pounds. They need to be stopped immidiately . I was called multiple times first by some guy can't remember his name, then someone called Emma Watson , i was asked very personal questions to which I didn't answer honestly, but they believed me. I was sent a brochure , then hassled by some guy by the name of David James i did not want to invest. They were very pushy and trying to lead me down different roads
One day I was in London with a friend , and thought what better to do than check them out. I went down Whitechapel road where there office is apparently situated me and my friend sat outside near enough all day , lots of guys in suits and one very very young girl. Thinking they were the bee knees and looks like not a care in the world about what they are doing. They need to be stopped. I wonder where the money is actually going and what it's being spent on.- Caller: Prime trading 5
- primetrading5| 2 repliesIn relation to the above matters, we would appreciate any issues be taken up with our complaints department on 08000560917 or alternatively email: info@primetrading5.com.
- Jeeves replies to primetrading5Please don't pretend to be so legitimate and innocent. You are only one of several "fine wines" boiler room scam companies. You are just like the land banking, carbon credits and coloured diamonds boiler room scams. If people have complainnts they should make them to the Financial Conduct Authority and Trading Standards and not to you. Other companies in your line of con usually try for a few months to pretend to be legitimate and are then closed down, only to reappear with another name.
- KirkbyI completely agree with Jeeves , stop the false act you will soon be caught. I was called last year which I purchased 1case of Chateau D'yquem which came to £1,700 , they continued to call me trying to get me to invest more which Im very happy I didn't proceed and give them any more of my hard earned profits. I received calls off the same names above.
I NEVER received any of the wine.
Complete SCAM and rip off!!!
I have ordered a private investigator to work with me to stop Primetrading5 , I've been in touch with the FCA and trading standards also.- Caller: Primetrading5
- Kirkby| 1 replyAlso might I add my private investigator got back to me, he asked me to check out the website "company check"
Primetrading5's net worth is £11,717
Which certainly does not add up- Caller: Primetrading5
- primetrading5| 3 repliesHaving read the various comments posted on this site, I am deeply concerned by some of the matters raised. I therefore felt it extremely important to respond to these false and incorrect accusations, as I have no intention of allowing the reputation of Prime Trading 5 Ltd to be tarnished in any way. Below are some bullet points which I hope will clarify our position on what we do and do not do.
What we do:
• Prime Trading 5 Ltd buys all of its Wine Stock
• We trade solely in “collectable fine wines”
• Our wines are stored in an HMRC bonded warehouse
• All Clients have access to their stock via the Bonded warehouse [on request]
• We are compliant with Trading standards and any other appropriate body
• All stock sold to collectors is sold in good faith and based on long term hold.
• We have a complaints procedure in place [as set out in our T&C’s] and would ask any client with a complaint to contact us via that procedure.
What we DO NOT do:
• We do not trade in Land Banking
• We do not trade in Carbon Credits
• We do not trade in coloured diamonds or in any other “Boiler room scams” In fact we whole heartily condemn any Business who operates such scams.
• We do not target older Citizens as one of the comments suggests. Quote “conning them out of thousands of pounds” In fact we have a wide age range of clients and again would condemn any company working in such a way.
Some personal comments also seem very strange, I would like to know how someone sitting outside a building that has multiple offices seem able to identify young, smart people as being Prime Trading 5 staff and not any other company employee’s. I find these comments totally inappropriate.
In response to “Jeeves and Kirkby”, I would like to stress that we are notpretending to be a legitimate company we actually are a Legitimate Company. As previously stated we only deal with Investment Fine Wines. Our Clients have access to their wine at all times, therefore what Kirkby states is untrue. The wines ae not physically delivered to clients houses unless they specifically request this. As you must be aware such wines must be stored in the correct environment which is why they are correctly and securely stored in an HMRC bonded warehouse. NO ONE IS RIPPED OFF.
Lastly we value our Company name and have no intention of closing down, we are a Legitimate business otherwise we wouldn’t be taking the trouble responding to these comments, we are not a “BOGUS” company. We have liaised with trading standards and operate within legal parameters.
I now request that this website be taken down. Your comments about us operating Scams are false and without any foundation. Just because there have been unscrupulous companies exposed in the Press does not mean that all companies trading in Fine Wines are the same, which you seem to imply. Our company is 100% legitimate and what you are doing is completely wrong.
We are always striving to offer a better service to our existing clients and potential new clients, to that end we always welcome any feedback given to us using the correct method of communication.
Prime Trading 5 Ltd - Grumpy Git. replies to primetrading5Perhaps you should learn how to spell and practice decent grammar. What the hell is "liabilise" and "aLegitimatebusiness"?
- JeremyWell said "Grumpy Git"
what primetrading5 has said just seems like a load of old cobblers, no one is buying anything you are saying
You are a fraudulent company conning thousands out of the elderly , I've also checked company checker and it states your company worth is £11,717 ? How does this add up? If you have many clients?
What HMRC bonded warehouse are your wines stored exactly?- Caller: primetrading5
- KirkbyThis is very interesting. Round of applause primetrading5 for that Oscar winning statement.
My private investigator got back to me with some very interesting details and all is not as it seems.
It turns out these guys are phoning elderly people with false identities, they use false names, they try to reel the elderly in and get them to trust them. I've been given a list of names which may be their real identities. I've been given the names :
Kyrone collins
Gerry anyiam
Aaron brotten
Ohran slee
Simon delisser
Zach robey
Ryan fraser
Still waiting for more names to come through, It also turns out they have no accounts opened with any london bonded warehouses. My investigator has more information to give me tomorrow.- Caller: primetrading5
- Kirkby| 21 repliesMy investigator confirmed the names, lots of useful information when you google these names and above.

- SusanWe need to stop these fraudsters!!! How disgusting, it's been proved these guys are not genuine, conning the nhs out of money and now continue to do so with primetrading5 . I've heard of numerous wine investment companies they run for a year or several years then close down in April at the end of a tax year so they don't pay tax then open up somewhere else with a new name.
They need to be stopped.- Caller: primetrading5
