This embarassing waste of good human oxygen has changed his instagram again. Weasel. Look at him running away. Isn't it funny how he has lost all of his courage? He didn't seem so shy when he was robbing people in broad dayligh. Your mum should have shallowed you 'my life's a movie - bring your popcorn'. No mate your life is a lie, you cretin.

We went to action fraud, and tried the London Met, they are currently being investigated, we also went to our own solicitor and instigated legal proceedings to get my Fathers money back,

We instigated legal proceedings via out solicitor, they paid £10,000 back, because we had asked for a refund within a 30 day cooling off period, they paid over a course of 4 months at £2500 per month, They still have a two cases of wine to transfer into an account that we have opened at London City Bond, after that we will try to sell the wine, even though we know its over priced and we wont get the price we were charged,

    Dear Colleen,

the news that you recovered the money is sweet... but also bitter. Sweet because you got your dad's money back. But bitter, because these criminals had already long ago actually spent every penny of your money on a luxury holiday to Las Vegas, travelling by BA first class, staying in a  5-star hotel. They later simply stole more money from other pensioners to pay you the £10K (google "Ponzi scheme"). They are able to sustain this type of scam as long as only a relatively low proportion of their "investors" (like you) kick up  a fuss/ blow the whistle. The uncomfortable realisation however is, if they had not stolen a fresh £10K from some other victim, you would not have received back the £10K. In other words, in order for you to get your money back, these criminals had to steal it from somebody else. That somebody else is most probably some lonely, vulnerable, aged, disabled widower who they have groomed, bullied, conned and coerced into giving up his life savings.

Who signed the four £2,500 cheques that they sent to you? Did these fraudsters use a solicitor?

How much did your own solicitor charge?

By the way - don't believe the lies that they have wine waiting to transfer into your account. It's just more bullsh*t to string you along.

Well done for having the courage, the heart and the love to stick up for your dad. Keep it up! You have my respect.

If they had done this to my dad, they would all be in a very special place now - every single one of them.

I do feel sympathy for all the people who have bought / invested wine from this terrible company, my Dad was 68, he never drank a drop of wine in his life and had no understanding of it at all, he was told to invest all his money and that it would be better than his ISA, He worked a labourer all his life and worked hard to bring up 4 daughters, my Mum died in 2002 and he has been lonely since, they got a vulnerable lonely man who just wanted to talk to someone on the phone and they kept him on the phone for an hour at a time telling him what a great investment the wine was.
I am happy that they interacted with our solicitor , the cheques were signed by a Mr Scott and they were transferred from their account into my Dads account, the solicitor charged us £880 and all communication was done between our solicitor and them, they refused to speak to my sister and I, the solicitor negotiated the refunds, we were threatening a winding down order, but believe me it wouldn't have needed that, I am from Belfast and I take no [***] from no-one,  if they didn't give my Dad the money back I personally would have went to London with a baseball bat and taken my monies worth from them and I wouldn't have cared about the consequences.
I hope that anybody they are currently calling to bully into buying wine reads this site and has second thoughts.

    Hope this info helps.

    Hi Colleen,
I like what you have written about your Dad.  I to likewise lost my husband six months before l started investing in wine.  I was very vunerable and felt real pressure from this company on there cold calling.  Looking back now l would have sent them away with a flea in there earhole but at that time l was still in a state of shock.  Paid £20,000 for two collections which as you know l am struggling to sell them.  Valued at around £4,600 each but told to expect nearer £4,000 each.  Hope they can sleep at night cause they have caused me many sleepless one.

Once again Colleen, well done and fantastic news for your family!!!!!!
