Definately NOT 'just looking to confirm some sort of donation' as we have not made any charity donations!! i know of NO 'charity' that will ring you 4 or 5 times a day... every day... just to confirm an amount you may have donated... so beware...

I signed up with rspca at my door, £10/month. It's just a call to make sure the charity worker/agent was polite and explained everything about the organisation. They also should have told you to expect this phone call a few days  after signing up! They'll leave you alone after you talk to them, and he (Julian) was quite lovely.

Im sorry to hear that you couldnt get baby settled but it was only welcoming call. They need to check that information you provided are correct and ask if the service provided to you was pleasant or not. Its a routine call which all charities do. If you had 4 calls I'm sure it would be easier just answer one of them and quickly explain that you are busy instead of ignoring them. Getting angry on them and cancelling donation just because of that specific moment they called you is just unfair and childish.

I am glad that i signed up with battersea dogs and cats home but i do object to is the bombardment of calls i am now receiving. it's just not on! especially when it's late at night.  How many times to i have to confirm that i am happy to donate every month. At this rate i will be cancelling the DD

Had a caller for donation to Great Ormond Street Hospital. Very nice and agreed given the work they do. Have now had 6 or more calls from this number to my mobile and they never leave a message. Shame as this has now put me off and will cancel the DD.

Cold caller after a recent visit by a "Chugger" to my door. After Call Support followup call from Appco Group Support. I made sure I ticked the box No Other Contact but I still got this call. A shame really as now Great Ormond Street will have their Standing order cancelled. It puts all charities who use "Chuggers" in the same boat!!!

If you signed up to a charity recently it is the monitoring company that are checking that rhe agents acted clearly and concisely when they took you through the process .

Several phone calls over the last couple of weeks. Each time I answer they hang up within 3 seconds. Blocked.

Answered a call from this number today at 12: 38, it was a genuine call regarding a donation we had set-up.

Exactly the same happened to me. For Great Ormond Street Hospital - the new cancer unit being built on the front of the building. I can't really afford it but the door to door people are so nice, it was hard to say that face to face. Probably what they count on....

I signed up to GOSH 4 days ago. Willingly!! I was told to expect a phone call as a follow up from "THEM".  They do not hang around. By the time I had found my phone and unlocked it the call ended at their end. Inadvertently rang back and didn't recognise the name in automatic machine response. GOSH is obviously not "THEM" and won't be doing survey unless they have more patience in cases, like me, where they want to speak to someone who is asleep when they dial......
