I have had several calls from this company over the last 6 weeks.I have been sent glossy broucher emails and paperwork trying to persuade me to invest my pension into plots of land in Reading which apparently is an up and coming city.I have been told I could get returns of up to 6 times as much as i invest in 5 years time.I have not signed anything yet but someone told me to check it out as it sounded like a scam which has brought me to this site

I have received a call from Falcon International Estates about trying to get me to allow them to sort out my pension, the telephone number is 02078508061. I would not speak to them on the phone and told them to put it all in writing, I did not give them my address, I have now received correspondence in the post. I have no idea how they got this information about me.

If you are a good firm then stop cold calling.......you are so inconsiderate stop phoning people, advertise in the public domain and public will come to you if they want your services. stop cold calling then maybe people would see your company in a different light. THINK ABOUT IT,  IT MAKES SENSE.

Got their rather unprofesional looking brochure. Here's a summary. It's an unregulated investment and they are not registered with the FSA. They will however divert you to an independent financial advisor. You have to hold the investment for an 'extended period of time' but no idea if they mean years or decades. They advise you to do your own research and consultation with local authorities or employ a proffessional to do so. They then advise that land valuations are a matter of the valuers 'opinion'

So if you are mad enough to invest with them how many commissions do you pay. Well Falcon want paid, the IFA will want paid and if you don't do your own research you will have another proffessional to pay. That's 3 sets of commission to come out of your investment for a start. And then you end up with a piece of land valued according to someone's opinion!

Anyone thinking of investing let me tell you that gullible is not a proper word. It doesn't really exist. Try finding it in a dictionary.

With regard to the comments that have been posted on this website we would like to make the position of Falcon International Estates clear.

Falcon International Estates employees are governed by strict guidelines outlined by the Information Commissioner’s Office.

The Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (the Regulations) and their amending regulations impose rules that anyone who conducts direct marketing by electronic means, including direct marketing by telephone, must follow.
The regulations clearly state that unsolicited live direct marketing calls must not be made to any individual or organization that has indicated that they do not wish to receive those calls either by telling the organization directly, or by registering their number on one of the managed telephone preference lists: the Telephone Preference Service or the Corporate Telephone Preference Service.

As Falcon International Estates only speaks with people that have requested further information through marketing campaigns carried out by external marketing companies then none of the telephone calls made by any employee of Falcon International can be seen as ‘unsolicited direct marketing’ or direct marketing phone calls that were not requested.

For further information please visit the Information Commissioner’s website at www.ico.gov.uk

Falcon International Estates does not offer investment opportunities direct to the general public.  Falcon can introduce appropriate individuals to an IFA that is authorised and regulated by the FSA. The IFA will assess whether an investment in such a scheme is suitable for the particular individual. If so, an Information Memorandum is sent to the prospective purchaser from a company that is authorised by the FSA to operate certain types of Collective Investment Schemes.  The products we introduce clients to are not a ‘scam.’

We work exceptionally hard at Falcon to make sure we are professional at all times and an independant compliance company monitors our business process and executives on an ongoing basis.

We feel comments being made on this website are factually incorrect, false and defamatory.  If you would like to take any of these points up we would be happy to put you in touch with our lawyers.

Report Spam Calls & Texts to the ICO replies to Falcon International Estates
    www.ico.gov.uk

    News release: 28 November 2012

The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) has today served monetary penalties totalling £440,000 on two owners of a marketing company which has plagued the public with millions of unlawful spam texts over the past three years.

This is the first time that the ICO has used its power to issue a monetary penalty for a serious breach of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) since these powers were approved in January 2012.

The ICO is also currently considering issuing penalties to three other companies believed to be acting in breach of the regulations as the office continues its crackdown on the illegal marketing industry.

    Information Commissioner, Christopher Graham, said:

“The public have told us that they are distressed and annoyed by the constant bombardment of illegal texts and calls and we are currently cracking down on the companies responsible, using the full force of the law.

“In March we set up a survey www.snapsurveys.com/swh/surveylogin.asp?k=134674895144 on the ICO website so people can tell us about any unwanted texts and calls they have been receiving. So far we have received over 60,000 responses. We know the majority of these messages and calls have been made by companies who try to remain anonymous in the hope they can profit by selling personal information to claims management companies and other marketing organisations. We are using the information provided by the public to identify those responsible.”

    The Information Commissioner continued:

“The two individuals we have served penalties on today made a substantial profit from the sale of personal information. They knew they were breaking the law and the trail of evidence uncovered by my office highlights the scale of their operations.

“We will continue to work with the relevant authorities as well as the network providers to ensure companies like this are punished. We’re also working with the Ministry of Justice to target claims management companies who purchase this information breaching the industry regulations, the Data Protection Act, as well as electronic marketing regulations.

“Our message to the public is that if you don’t know who sent you a text message then do not respond, otherwise your details may be used to generate profits for these unscrupulous individuals. Together we can put an end to this unlawful industry that continues to plague our daily lives.”

Further information about the ICO’s investigation into Tetrus Telecoms can be found in the monetary penalty notices available on the ICO's monetary penalty notices page.

    Further action
Niebel and McNeish are also facing prosecution from the ICO for failing to notify that Tetrus Telecoms was processing personal information. Notification is a legal requirement for organisations under the Data Protection Act punishable by a penalty up to £5,000 in the Magistrates Court, and a potentially unlimited fine in the Crown Court.

It is important that any company that has bought data from Tetrus or Niebel or McNeish in the past, now carefully checks that the proper customer consents have been obtained and that they are acting within the law. We are working with the Ministry of Justice to consider whether further enforcement action should be taken against any of these associated companies, including the cancellation of their authorisation to operate.

The ICO has set up a survey www.snapsurveys.com/swh/surveylogin.asp?k=134674895144 which people can use to send us the details of any unwanted marketing texts and calls to investigate.

The information provided is being used to help identify those companies responsible.

We are currently considering issuing penalties to three other companies for breaching the PECR. We are not identifying these companies now, as this could jeopardise our investigations and evidence gathering, however you can find out more about what action we are taking here http://www.ico.gov.uk/enforcement/action.aspx against firms.

I have just received a call from Falcon Investments. After asking where they found my number I told them I wasn't interested as I receive too many marketing promotions daily. The caller then said to me word for word "so you can't process more than one thing at a time?". This is incredibly rude and totally uncalled for. And furthermore, does this attitude really result in won business?

I shall be ringing Trading Standards now.

This message is for everyone -

Falcon Land is a business which purchases land across the UK for literately no price at all, it then breaks it up in to 40+ house sized plots (depending on the size of the site) and sells it to potential investment hungry clients.

They used to be called Scala Land Group until they shut down a few years ago. Directors were - John Gaskin, Benjamin Jones and Kyri Kyriacou.

Falcon will have the same directors, possibly one more by the name of Greg Baker.

All four gentlemen are well known for being con-artists. They all worked in an old stock broking firm called "Pacific Continental" well known for being dodgy also.

Do not buy anything from Falcon land. You will not make any money and you will not be able to get your money back either. There contracts are well written (S J Berwin you can thank for that)

Best thing to do is hang up and move on.

    Good luck all

    Peace
    B

Received a call from J Greenwood from Falcon Investments today.

Politely told him to remove me from his list.

With in an hour, I started receiving abusing and constant voice messages to my phone from numbers 0208 7599577 and 0239238668.

This maybe a coincidence, but doubtful.

Had a phone call from Jason... Sent me an email of stuff about property investments.  I replied instantly asking questions.  A week later and he's bothered to ring again.  Told me I cannot invest in my SIPP via HL, have to open another with a crowd called Novia in Bath.  HL removed them.  I remember Pacific Continental from long ago, so that's the end of my involvement with this bunch.

Incidentally their current land is in Southampton allegedly.

Really poor company - changed their name again - think they are called intro capital now.

Bunch of kids that no one else would employ trying to rip off gullible people.

I work for a reputable city based investment house and companies like this make a sham of the industry and those who actually make money for their clients.

Personally I cannot believe that people are so stupid to purchase or invest off the back of a poorly scripted pitch that the company has been using since they were called Scala land. The directors all have a lot of money though.. Yours if youve given it to them!
