Just received call from same number, long silent pause, then voices like a busy call centre and then they hung up!!!

I got a call today as well from these guys. All kinds of lies and claiming they had run a credit check on me, but they didnt even know my first name! And I too, have recently requested home insurance quotes from a number of comparison websites, including confused.com

I also used comparethemarket and gocompare, but no one mentions them.

Avoid these guys, they are dodgy.

recently filled in gocompare etc for car insurance. It is an insurance company connected with them (don't know which one)

this company offering to claim money back for you from loans and credit cards.21 missed calls yesterday [13/4/10].just ignored it.

Although this won't help everybody, if you have a Samsung mobile and have received any unwanted calls - find the number under recent contacts, go to 'options', then number 8 which will add this number to your reject list.  You will still get a missed call note, but will not have the inconvenience of the phone ringing.  I add appropriate company names to my phone book so if they repeatedly call I know who to report.

they called, i answered, there was noone on the other end. WHAT IS THIS MADNESS?!

Same here, called me daily for the last week and either just rings once or no-one there. Called in back and got recorded message about claims company.

Had 2 calls from this number today one at 16.13 then again at 19.15. Both times I sais I wasn't intertested. She said they were a claim company. I interupted her and hung up.

glad i looked this up. didn't answer as i was at work. my insurance is due soon and i used a comparison website last year. won't be doing it again!

I just got a missed call from this number. I have also just registered with Money SuperMarket.  I will not answer this now!

I just had a missed call on my mobile fro this number also, checked this website which confirmed my fears.  I too have used comparison websites, although that was almost a year ago when I was renewing my car insurance.

I had 8 missed calls. The compay is "claims guys". They got my number from a comparison web site, they couldn't tell me which one I asked to be taken off the calling list.

Just called them, and they are trying to claim money back for credit card charges, payment protectioned etc etc

Recieved a phonecall from this number.. strange because although ive been getting car insurance quotes of individual companies, i have not yet used a comparison site, yet they still got my number...

Yup its the "Claim Guys" I answered their questions as was not asked any personal or banking info. Took 1 min, once he realised that I had no debts/loans he thanked me for my time and removed me from his database (he offered to do this I didn't prompt him)

The number is from a company calling themselves "The Claims Guys." Used Confused.com recently. London number, comany in Altringham. Can't work that one out. Told them I wasn't interested. I don't understand what car insurance has to do with loan ppi.
Won't be using any comparison sites in future.

I am gettin the same problem they have called me on a number of times when I answer they hang up on me, I call them back the 1st time and they appologise and it must have been an incorrect digit pressed. They are still calling me what do I do 2 stop then from doing so??
