Got a call from 02079807360 asked where they got my number from and they wouldn't say but have agreed to take me off their list (see how long that lasts). They were trying to offer me debt consolidation but didn't say name of company.

This number's been calling me all week. A few years ago I used a comparison website to sort out my car insurance, which has just come up for renewal. I suspect they've lifted the number from that and every year ring me at this time to try and flog me something. Told them I was TPS, always ticked "no marketing" boxes and that I'd have them for harassment if they called again, as I'd already checked the number out on here.

New trick to try: put a dummy number (say, 08980123456) and address (use your real postcode for insurance!) in the comparison website, find the best deal then go to their own website to sign up and buy it, using real details. Always tick the "no marketing or passing to third party" boxes - but check carefully how they're worded as a lot of them have now started being worded as "Tick here if you want junk mail," as we've all got used to them saying, "Tick here if you don't want junk mail," and speed-read it wrong.

This numbers had been calling me everyday for the last 2 weeks, sometimes 3 times a day. They never leave a message. Just ignore it.

I rang them back and tried selling them my broken washing machine!, i rang the 18 times and then i was told they will call the police!!

Been receiving calls from this number and now they have started to hang up when answered. NNED IT STOPPED

I have been getting numerous calls from this number. Didn't realise that trying to get a decent quote would lead to this. Never again!!!!!!

iv had around 20 calls from them in the last month all at stupid times of the day

I just recieved a calltoday at around 12:25, i didn't pick up, but they actually left an answer message, so I listened to it and laughed a bit. Their phoning program must be playing up beacuse the woman started her spiel,
"hello their Mr X I'm ringing about your recent loan application" (which I have never applied for)
"Hello..."
"Hello..."
"Fine then"
*Hangs up*

this number has called several times recently - answered it once - a scouse guy waffling on about getting money back on my loans - i don't have any - told him it sounded like a scam and hung up. don't think they'll bother a gain. if they do i ignore it.

These people called me 80 times in 1 hour ridiculous. I answered and name now removed from systems. They tried to say that they got my number from a comparison site or from a loan site which I have been on none. Must be mobile company giving numbers out.

25 calls from this number on my phone's missed call list.

This number called my at least 3 times within an hour, and called twice on another day. Finally picked up, was told who they were and the asked if I had a credit card or loan as I could get reimbursed with payment protection. Fobbed them off, hopefully never to be heard again.

Why wont these poeple leave me along, I have asked them many times to remove my details and I have registered my number with the gov programme to stop nuisance callers and yet still they ring.

Yes I too made the mistake of using a price comparison website and have since been inundated with spam calls. I set their number to not ring but they still call every couple of days. Are they mad? Who would choose to do business with a company as underhanded, stupid and downright desperate as this?
