Just had a mobile call from this number, caling from a company that can help you reclaim money that you have had to pay out on loads and credit cards.  Said I hadn't had any and she said thanks for taking my call anyway.  Been on insurance comparison sites recently so may be connected to this.

Called my mobile number today I saw their number on my missed call log so thought I would check them out. Guess what I have just been on an insurance web site for my car insurance! Thanks for a brilliant service.

Wonder if this company are linked to leadex? Who are also calling me on an old phone i use when getting online quotes.

Signup to a free 0871 number & use that, I had an 0870 number and never got ANY calls back from online quotes.

If they do call you make a few p profit from them.

Called said from "The Claim Guys"

Asked me if i had credit cards or loans in the past 6 years i replied no none, He couldnt understand me, I dont think his worksheet has a NO option and that confused him. He had to ask me again and then again both times i replied no.

Line goes dead.

I only keep the phone switched on to annoy these people.


If leadex call again i will keep them chatting for as long as possible.

I have had 3 calls this week from that number, answered first time, after a few seconds line went dead, not answered it since.

Just had call, woman spoke - manchester accent - lost connection, not going to call back if telemarketer. Used to get harassed by people with 0870 number before after entering details into price comparison websites. Thought this had stopped but now they have london area code I was mroe inclined to answer. Will be adding them to my blocked list. Have registered with preference service means nothing, still get harassed and only thing network say they can do is change my number which I don't want to do as had it for about 10 years.

Just got a call from these guys....what a nuisance, like I'm going to tell them anything!  The caller said they can help claim back any credit card charges, wait a minute, let me just give you my credit card details & the security number on the back is...YEH RIGHT!  Why do these people think they have the right to con? are they really that useless that they can not earn their own money!

I got a call from this number the other day.  And they keep calling me back.  Pretty much every hour on my work phone.  I too filled in my details on a price comparison website.  I won't be doing that again.

These comparison sites make a lot of money from selling the personal information put into them.  People should be made aware of it.  We should start a campaign against such sites.

Phone scammers beware!

Got a call from this number this morning but could not answer it as I was driving so if they call again I shall use TPS in my conversation! lol, In fact I am going to say that I work for the police!

I had a call from this number today - when I answered the lady rattled off a load of information and all I heard was "Clays".  Had to ask her to repeat herself about 3 times before it became clear she was calling from "The Claims Guide" and wanted to talk about any finance agreements I'd taken in the past few years.

I NEVER give permission for companies to share/sell or distribute my details - when I asked where this persen had gotten my number she said "we work in conjunction with price comparison websites".  She went on to offer to remove my details from her list but refused to tell me specifically who had provided my name & mobile number.

I am going to re-register my details with the telephone preference agency which is supposed to stop all of this.

...and if I find out which company is distributing my details I will make an official complaint!

As I dont know for sure which company it is yet I wont start making acusations BUT interestingly I have recently used some of the websites already listed on earlier posts regarding 0207 980 7360!

Sorry - to clarify it was The Claims Guys and not as I said earlier The Claims Guide.

I had this number yesterday, but now sure how they got my number (landline) as I don't look for insurance on line. Chappie got a bit upperty when I said NO

The number is for a Company called the Claims Guys (People who work on PPI insurance claims), they work to recover money on miss-sold payment protection but they charge 30% for the service.

Do not answer this number 0207 980 7360.  I have been called by it before and gave them a mouthfull as if I ever use a comparison website I check the box saying I do not wish my details to be given out to a third party.  They are a pest and if I can find out who the best people to report them to are I will.

The Claims guys aint dodgy people, they helped me claim back £3600 in PPI charges on my bank loan earlier this year, they don't scam you, well apart from the 30% fee, but better then nothing! They rang me today, follow up call, thats why I've ended up here...didnt recognise the number. lol. Give them a bash if yr thinking of claiming yr PPI charges back, settle my claim within 4 weeks. :-)
