- ANONThey get bonuses for recruiting as many people as possible
- Caller: TA SOLUTIONS
- Jenhey guys, i worked for this company for 2 months, and it drove me absolutely insane.
Although you do get paid if you sign people up for [***], which is the only bonus, you are daily harassed to practice scripts used in hope to sign people up, even if you're not being paid you STILL have to use your own money (that you dont have) to pay for transport to god only knows where. That you cant get back by the way.
Here's how the interview process goes the whole way through:
interview one: you go in, talk to them for a bit and then get called back for a second interview (without fail)
interview 2: go in, spend a WHOLE DAMN DAY from 8am to 8pm (6:30 on weekends, 'work your 8 hours my ass') roaming the streets listening to an obviously rehearsed spiel about how you'd totally be able to make £300+ a week (most i made was 160, and that was once... in 2 months)
Then you get this questionnaire at the end of the interview, which isn't really much of a challenge as all the answers to it have been given to you in the day, so if you've been paying attention like a hopeful job hunter will, you will most definitely get the job. just like they plan.
Then you start work because you've so easily gotten this job, and it slowly becomes apparent that everyone there is totally insane and that they were lying through their damn teeth during the interview process.
As i mentioned somewhere above there's 8 rules that they tell you in the 2nd interview, one of them is 'work your 8 hours' meaning keep your attitude up for the whole 8 hours you're out in the field, be happy, smile and be generally cheerful.
the 8 rules in a list where i can happily contradict them all:
1: have a good attitude
okay you're forced to walk around for 12 hours (not 8 like it's stated) listening to people tell you no, slam doors in your faces, on your own, sometimes in the rain/snow/hail. NOBODY COULD BE HAPPY THROUGH THAT.
2: be on time
okay that's not that tough, but if you know what's ahead of you, nobody will want to get up for it
3: be prepared
you cannot be prepared for a day where you dont know what's going to happen, you cant, it's physically impossible.
4: work your 8 hours
nope 12 hours.
5: know your territory
oh yeah, you need map reading skills! and sometimes you get days where someone has already DONE that territory the day before, meaning you're guaranteed to get no's for the whole 12 hours.
6: MAINTAIN your good attitude
kay like i said earlier, YOU CANT. i had one rainy day where all of my past failures just crashed into me, which included the death of someone i loved... the boss 'Michael' said 's*** happens and that you just have to keep a smile up through all the negativity during the day' even though you're DYING INSIDE, they're not all that sympathetic to your problems during the day.
7: knowing what you're doing and why
kay so during the interview process you find out what you're doing so you automatically know, but WHY? they make YOU create goals for the day for that to try and make you convince yourself that what your doing is profitable in some way for some reason.
8: be in control
/be in control/?! of people you dont know in places you dont know in WEATHER you cant control in SEASONS you cant control...
They're also not that good at communicating with you, they say you sign someone up for £10 a month and that gives you £20 per app you do
but they dont TELL you that some of the companies doing this dont PAY YOU for £10 apps, that only £8 apps are put through, i lost out on £60 once because of that, and all they had to say was 'oh we told you that, yeah we did' no you didn't moron.
also they're not very catering to your disabilities, i told them i had a problem with walking quickly for an excessive amount of time, so what does the boss do, he partners me up with the fastest walking chick in the company, whom tries to FORCE me to keep up with her.
The only good thing to come out of that company was a new really good friend, who quit the week before i did (i was home during university break came back to find she'd quit the week before... i quit that day.)
dont fall for this company's crap, it's utter garbage.- Caller: T.A Solutions Bournemouth
- Bournemouth/c replies to Charlottei worked for the Bournemouth branch for about 6months, got to leadership in my 2nd week, went on a load of road trips etc. I went to reading with some other leaders and was hit by a car on our first day, i was advised to stay off my feet for a week. i was forced to work as they refused to allow me to rest, so i had to hobble about on crutches all day. you honestly think thats fair? when i quit after i got home, they didnt pay me the money that i had earned, even after giving them an invoice for my money. i called mr. adetona and he informed me that i owed money to my leader. which i didnt. and refused to pay me. i dont think its a scam but i do think they're working illegally.
- chelsie replies to Sophieis your leader called Dan? i think ive heard of you before, you're one of the only people who i heard of who was doing really well, if you think you can do it, keep at it!!
- FinCame across this thread as I was researching for my 'interview/meeting' at Tonas Ace Solutions tomorrow. Glad I did, thanks for everyone giving feedback of their experiences. Here is mine for the record...
After sending off an application on Reed for a position that looked like a perfect graduate role that wasn't explicitly sales; said it involved traing in different ares of business, etc, etc. I became suspicious even when I was applying, as only 10 people had applied for the position, when similar jobs on Reed are swamped with applications.
Sent the app on Friday, got sent an email on Saturday morning asking me to call a woman called Katrina Patrone asap to arrange a meeting to see what role within Tonas would suit my skills. Again, suprised that this email had been sent at 8am on a Saturday...what normal person is working at this time!?!?! She then phoned me an hour after sending the email to arrange an interview on Monday, confirming it with an email asking me to read through their latest company blog-type things. So from their I started researching the company, and found this treasure trove!!! Needless to say, cancelled the interview.
Although I am disappointed that a good I thought would be good has disappeared and I have to continue looking, it has given good experience of avoiding similar sorts of 'jobs' in the future.
For anyone else, they are Citi Base Building, 40 Princess Street, Manchester, M1 6DE, and I had a meeting with the Michael Adetona bloke you are all banging on about. - Your biggest loss is giving up!! replies to information| 1 replyLOOOOL Awwww Bless you poor thing
Obviously you had a massive amount of belief and faith in completing the programme otherwise you wouldnt have such an extensive amount of knowlegde about it and considering the amount of false dirt you dished you are very angry and pissed off you didnt complete the programme, in other words you gave up and are a very sore loser! lol
lets be honest if it..YES not everyones going to get to management (and they clearly say it, all the damn time)because not everyone is built for it or driven for success infact alot of the general public are plain simple lazy and complacent working for someone else building someone elses dream rather than their own!...Im definately not going to say its easy, it takes alot of hardwork, time and dedication BUT i can guarantee you it will change your life for the better no mater your living circumstances, iv seen the successful make it to management and become even more successful.
But for you to try say its a scam YET you fully acknowlegde and freely mention you saw someone complete the programme(this michael fella)..there is a few words in the dictionary that describe this kind of behaviour/attitude...
1. You just contradicted yourself - explaination - its a scam but i saw someone get to managerment! errr Reeeeeetard!
2. You a Hypocrite - explaination - you embarked on the journey of completing the obviously knowing the details but because of your own failure you believe others are in capable of completing the programme. straight up self endulged, selfish and think because you cant no one can...errrr R...R...Reeeetard!!! lool
No one like losing but theres nothing worse than being a spoilt sport sore loserrrr! lol
By the way - I did the programme, didnt complete it (YES im a loser too, i gave up on myself and abilities, but i got right back up off my sorry [***] and look at me now CEO) i made a lot of success driven friends along the way and congradulate my friends who did complete the programme as iv have personally seen more than 10 of my friends get promoted to management in 8 months and i must say, the life they living is totally different to the one they lived before.
THE SMELL OF SUCCESS! Mmmm - John replies to informationJosh Cote is very successful! Not...
