Received a call from this number tonight at approx 8pm. the caller claimed they were ringing from a health centre/service and enquiring if i had any aches and pains etc, asking personal questions about my age etc and stating that they could do these tablets that couldnt be gotten over the counter, and that they could do 30 tablets for £14.95. when i enquired about a website they had that i can check out the validity of the company the caller just said "ok thank you" and hung up. it seems this may be a scam. not sure if anyone else has had a call like this? they said they dont have leaflets or information they send out to home address either and the caller was of asian origin by the sound of the voice.

I had this one this morning.  An asian voice claiming to be from the "Health Care Department" wanting some feedback on my general health.  I asked where they were and they said Bexley in Kent?  I told her I didnt believe they were genuine and therefore I would not answer any questions.

Another scam for us to worry about.

A similar call tonight at around 6:30 for my wife. Asian voice and a lot of general health questions. Got to the point about suggesting some tablets and suggested speaking to a colleague and my wife then backed out as she was in the middle of cooking a meal.

Sounds distinctly dodgy to me!!!!!!!!!!

Same asian-sounding person phoned me a few minutes ago from this number. After wasting about 10 minutes on "health questions" and offering some "advice" (a glass of warm water every morning) he got to the point. Selling pomegranate tablets  - usually £30 for a month's supply, yours for £14.99 special promotion. Told him I'd buy from shop and he ended the call.

Called me every day this week  answer phone records the number so i never have to speak to them just keep deleting their number but it is very worrying that they now all your details(name number etc.) Where do they collect all that from that's what i want to now

also had a call this morning - asian woman and wouldn't say how she had my no.  said i had filled out a survey and she will be ringing back later but now after reading all this i will not be answering the phone ! i don't remember filling out a survey.

Same as previous reports, Indian sounding , well mannered enquiring of my health. I asked her if the call was urgent and if not, I was having my dinner she apologised and said she would call back. She did but I did not answer it.

I had a call from them today. Gave the impression they were doing a healthcare survey in our area. Asked very personal questions then passed me onto her colleague for further advice. I ended the call as busy but thought i would check them out.

i have had this  phone call this morning i was realy taken in having had
arthritis for 30 years and being a stupid old woman i gave them my bank details which is something i never do but they said they were the arthris
association so i thought it must be ok PLEASE ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE THIS CALL FROM THESE PEOPLE JUST PUT THE PHONE DOWN ON THEM  
I HAVE BEEN IN TOUCH WITH MY BANK AND THEY HAVE BLOCKED MY CARD FOR ME WHICH OBVIOUSLY MEENS I CANNOT USE IT UNTILL I HAVE ANOTHER ONE COME SO NO GROCERY FOR ME THIS WEEK. BUT IF THEY TAKE ANY MONEY OUT THE BANK WILL GET

Sounds familiar - had a similar phonecall yesterday and, on checking, found another among 'callers who left no message' back in October.  Asian accent, Bexley, Kent, something about a Healthcare Survey.  Told them that what they were asking for was confidential medical information and if I had any problems of the nature described, I would discuss them with my GP.  Put tthe phone down - didn't get as far as offering any pills, etc.

My wife has just had a similar call but they claimed they had spoken to her before. she denied speaking to anyone about health care.
He said his name was "George"and he was calling from Bexley

She thought the voice sounded like someone who had made a previous scam call from someone trying to offer on-line computer servicing.He also saifd he was George but calling from Bradford

I wish someone would come up with a system that enabled you to lead them on and give them false bank details that would entrap them as they attempted to steal your money.

Just got a phone call from this number.

The person at the other end wanted to speak to my husband. When I asked what it was about she told me it was from a Health Clinic.

Weird - as my husband is waiting for a phone call from our local hospital and I thought they may have changed their name, I passed the phone to him saying quite loudly that this was a Health Clinic and I didn't have a clue what they were on about.

By the time he held the phone to his ear, the caller had hung up.

No idea what the call was about but having read the posts here I can begin to imagine.

We are also on the TPS and still, phone calls like this are coming through more and more again. Normally, I would ask how they got the number and the phone call will be ended from the other side without even so much as a "bye".

I really wish something could be done to effectively block these sort of calls or even better still to stop them being made in the first place.

Just had a call from this number. I wasn't in and they didn't leave a message but the phone flagged their number. After reading some of the comments abut them, I don't think I'll bother answering if they call back.

Had a call from this number lady said her name was Dora although it was an asian accent. Said she was calling from the health centre and asked if there was any help I needed any way. I replied that I was quite fit and healthy when she launced into the sales patter about  Pomegranate and its health giving properties. Then offered to send me the tablets and asked for my card number. When I said I wasnt daft enough  give a cold caller my card details she said she was upset that I didnt trust her.   I said she could send the tablets as she obviously knew my address and that i  would send a cheque on receipt of in invoice. She then gave me the address that the cheque would have to be sent to.   3, Montvelier Road. Bexleyheath. Kent DA5 3AP.  Obviously no cheque will be sent it will be interesting to see if the tablets arrive.

Had a call from this number on the 08/12 at 09:31, wanted to talk about annual holidays.  Think they might have thought up a new scam.

Got a call from this number at 4:50am 3rd January 2011 and an earlier one at 2:30pm 2nd January 2011.  I'm so tired of being pestered by cold callers that I usually pick up and put the phone straight down.  But ten to five in the morning is going a little too far.  My Grandad's ill at the moment and we're expecting a call any day now to tell us things have taken a turn for the worse.  Someone should stop these people!!!

Don't know who the company is but other comments have stated it's a company asking health questions.  Furthermore, they didn't leave a message.

Had another call from them for the third time, I managed to get to the phone in time and was greeted by an Asian chap who confirmed my name and put the phone down on me.  I can't promise to be as polite next time.

Got a call at 8 pm tonight.  Didn't answer it as I didn't recognise the number.  We're a member of the telephone preference scheme too - so shouldn't have had a call.

We've been having calls from this number now for 2 weeks, sometimes 3 times in a day/eve. Didn't answer it as didn't recognise the number & have had numerous scam calls in the past. Instead of ignoring it now, we put the phone in front of a loud radio until they ring off! They're still calling though & would like to block or report this caller.

This number rang at 14-30hrs and ask a lot of questions about my health and any medication i was on.
When i said i was very healthy thank you and was not taking any pills they politely said good bye.
