this number started calling me about 2 hours ago.

Does anybody know who this is.  I have about 8 missed calls from the number and any voicemails that are left is just some one saying hello, hello, hello

I have been getting calls from this number since last week.... i am sick off recieving calls if they keep calling me im calling the garda...

iv been getting calls from this number too at same time last two evenings have feeling its ntl/chorus ringing rang the main number for them and they said it could be sales ringing me

Yeah I had 7 missed calls from them last nite starting at 18.30, no voicemail from them but theres also no need if it is NTL for them to call me - dont use them and never have so they shouldnt have my number. Does anyone know whether it's illegal for them to call when you are opted into the opt out list for marketing calls? Seem to think calling people on the list incurs a fine?

Well, just rung this number, and it's NTL. Usually they ring from this nr when they want to confirm something, or you contacted them but there was no answer.

This Number keeps ringing me aswell when i answer it hangs up, i ring it back no answer its very anoying !!

I filled out a contact form on NTL website asking to call me....had a missed call from this number.

Rang back first, no answer.

Rang back again....here is the converssation that occurred :

Receiver : Hello.
Me : Eh, who is this ?
receiver : This is UPC
Me : I had a missed call from this number.
Receiver : It's probably a sales call, they will ring you back later in the afternoon.
Me : Thanks, bye.

Does anyone think it's a bit strange that they just answer with 'hello' ? Not something like : "Hello, this is UPC, this is X speaking" ?

Just seems a bit dodgy. . . .

what the hell is the i got call from them today, called them back and the guy on the other  end said it was an accident, claimed to be company called vphone?!

I would love to wring their necks..they called and said they were upc and were sending out a repair man to my home..thought it sounded strange so said i dont use them (i do which must be how they have my number) so guy said it must be a mistake and hung up. NOW THEY ARE RINGING CONTINIOUSLY and say 'hello mr. x' and hang up..when i called back the number i heard foreign voices and one said to the other 'hang up' and the line went dead...5 mins later they called again!!!! It sounds like maybe some scammer has got access to ntl info and is trawling for victims for some scam or other...maybe not but its damn fishy!! I think all should make a complaint to the guards about it as its harrassment!

keeps calling me and hanging up straight away when i ring back i get nothing

Calls keep coming to my fathers house from 021-4852700, my father is a retired disabled man, it takes him a long time to get to the phone and when he does this number hangs up, this constantly happening, its made my father feel uneasy in the house and this is no less than harrassment!

they first rang several days ago & when i answered all i got was another ringing tone so i hung up! now they keep calling me - several times a day
When i try to ring back  -they dont answer?!

It's problably NTL. I had a contract with them and they have this automatic calling system. BTW, THEY SUCK!

Get a life??. a dodgy number that continuously calls numerous pple are hardly just missed calls
You cant track this number on the chorus website and i spoke to the person at the other end, i was transfered to 3 diff pple to confirm my details.
can anyone confirm that this is chorus's number?
