I've been getting calls to the past few evenings. Just once though. I answered just there and they hung up... egit system!!

I was getting a calls for past few days from them...
Was too busy to anserw..

this number has bn ringing us.the same thing as the rest of you..Shocked when i googled it..!!!as im sure most have bn?if you ring this no' bk,you r charged by the second premium rate in to their pocket!!beware!!not sure how or where they are getting the no' but we all have singed up to the same services somewhere along the line ie,Phone,tv,ect.

They are a call centre provider and help companies like NTL, UPC to try to sell services to customers. I'm an NTL customer but am sure I didn't sign up for this. Like all of you, I've been contacted way too many times and it's a bit annoying, especially since I'm abroad and have to pay roaming charges for these unwanted calls.

The more people that complain, the better the chances that this will stop. The communications regulator in Ireland have the power stop this type of harassment.

First you should ask NTL/UPC to stop. You can email them at Customer.Support@upc.ie or call them:

Freephone 1908 (if calling from abroad please dial 00 353 1 245 8000)
Monday - Friday 9am to 6pm

If this doesn't work and you still receive calls then it's time to contact the regulator.

while being a NTL customer, I still find it strange that this could be NTL or some genuine company. I'd stay on the side of caution unless you know for sure and I dont mean reading something on the internet as whose knows whether this is a scam, a means of getting an address and whether it's vacant at any time.

I have been getting these calls for months, sometimes 4 or 5 times a day and I’m SICK of it. I have put in a complaint with Comreg. Awaiting reply

I got fead up with calls coming from 0214852700. So I stored it on my phone and set the ring tone to beep once for it. Now when they ring I answer it ans say nothing.

Yeh its NThell, rang me 3 times today, most recent was 8.30pm on a friday evening, do they not think that we could be out on a friday not...[***]

This number is ringing my mobile and when I answer they just hang up! Very annoying!

I just got a missed call there too, im with UPc so they have my number.

Ill just ignore it im good at that ha ha

guy sayd hew as from UPC, offered a contract, 6 euro a month for a telephone line, sayd id get a free siemense phone worth 80 euro and sayd i could cancel the contract and keep the phone any time LOL! he was also asking if the net was working fine, because they were working on something and installing fiber optics.. wtf is a salesman doing with that info Oo.

also was asking if i had any alarms or something idk what the hell he ment..

i wouldnt tell them anything, im not even the owner of the service and they talked to me no probem..

This number has called me three times in the last week.. firstly at half 8 in the evening and then twice in the same day at 3pm then 6pm... each time when i answered the call it was immediately disconnected. this is very annoying. Some legislation should definitely be brought in to combat this. If i am still around when i am very old and this [***] happens to me i am gonna go and do some damage to these companies offices.

It's Sunday and I got two calls from them. I put their number into ignore-list on my phone.

Got a missed call on Friday from this number and then answered a call from it at about 3.30pm today. They said 'Hello, is this ?????' (a name similar to mine) and then hung up. Its weird.....

This number keeps ringing me at all hours of the day and night, it's NTL customer service and i've told them to stop ringing me but they keep on doing it

i work for this company,
firstly all employers are from cork so that customer saying "a foreign voice answered" is clearly lying throug their teeth.
secondly your a customer with us, thats how we have your number, so dont complain if we just wanna SAVE YOU MONEY!!!!!
thirdly we run off a dialler system, the phone rings for 30secs then moves on, not our fault if you dont reach the phone in time
and fourthly it is not illegal for us to ring you, we are keeping you updated about your account.......
