Turns out it was the Australian Wine Club - maybe this number is the call centre that contracts for various services, not just the wine club.

Constant calls.  I am aware that if you respond you are charged a high call rate.  I have been caught before.  If they can be identifed then I can arrange they never call anyone again!

Did anyone find out who to complain to?

I've had calls on and off for months and finally Googled and found this today. I'd rather not get any more calls and will report them if I know who to tell.

Just received a call from this number. Hung up as soon as I picked up.

Receiving the same calls. I rang back and got the recorded message too.

Just got a call from it just then, called it back and it said "A city based call centre has tried to call you on behalf of its client" and just hung up?

Got a call from them today 7/2/11 at 1h49 pm. They did not answer when they called.

Got this call just now and it was a charity - (SES - aka State Emergency Services) selling tickets for a car to raise money.

This number calls on and off regularly over months, with several calls per day for a while and then stops for a few weeks.  I don't return the call as I am now aware that it is no-one I know or want to know!  

However, recently another number has been calling 0354346430, alternating with 0280311300 on the same day.  Does anyone know if there is any link?  Or if 0354346430 is a legitimate company/number?I assume the 03 number is coming from regional Victoria.

Got calls from this number saying they were the NSW Emergency Services and thanking me for past donations. I immediately smelt a rat and terminated the call.

I just got a call from 0280311300 asking for a donation for the SES.  Rang the SES and the operator gave me this number to call 1300 707 344 which is part of the SES.  I spoke to a person there who checked the call, and then agreed to remove our telephone no. from their call list.

I got a call from 0280311300 at 05:54pm on the 15th of February 2011.
They didn't call for long and I didn't pick up to answer.
So annoying when they don't even leave a message.

Yep same, a couple of times a week - I never answer either - just assumed it's a prank or telemarketer, usually in the middle of the day. Googled the number and arrived here... I wonder if we all have something in common that has helped them get our numbers...

I am getting these calls too.  Each time I havent been quick enough to answer.  then i found this page wont be answering now.  Do we know who it is.

Received a call 2 weeks ago from this number, it was a wine club offering a special (I had bought before and they knew my name, I didn't buy but this time but it sounded legit). Just got another call now, hung up when I answered....I heard call centres get paid for connected calls and hang up if they have a few calls on the go? Even so some of the other comments on here requesting personal details like findmysuper sounds strange, surely they would have more detail about who they are calling...

Have received a heap of calls from this number.  I never answer and have yet to receive a voice mail.  Cant be too important then!

A number of hang ups from this number - it's getting really annoying!

These people call, this is the 3rd seperate number that have claimed to be the Red Cross, from Sydney, I live in Queensland!
