this is a scam number i also received a call today dont answer it...

Got called by this number this morning. Luckily, I had the phone on silent as I was in work and did not answer it!

I answered this, they asked me something about whether I was on Pay As You Go, I put the phone down on them.

i got one just now, rang for a while but i think it went dead when i answered.

Got a call this morning from this number, but I was too busy to pick it up.
Does anybody know what sort of scam this might be?

yeah i got a call from this number, i picked up - but there was a long pause and then someone yelling "hello? HELLLLLOOO?" and i thought "hmm...rude" so i hung up. seemed dodgy!

unfortunately i cudnt answer because i was in a lesson but am definitely curious as to what it was!

Picked the phone up for the missus as she was driving and asked who I was speaking to!
They were very reluctant to say-all they said were that they wanted to speak to her about her mobile phone-tossers

I got a call from this number today they pretty much call once a week and never leave a msg - anyone know who it is?   so annoying when people dont leave a message!!!

my nana got a call from this number today but when she went to answer it went dead. i researced the area code and it came from Cardiff.. some companys reverse charge you for these kind of calls so i advise you not to answer any calls you think look dodgy vecause they can keep you on for ages and its costing you when you don't realise it. i got a call from one a little while ago when i had just out £30 credit on my mobile and at the end on the conversation i only had £0.62 left.. i was furious!!!!

I rang them back, got someone called comms direct or something, wnated to ask me aboot my moby.

just got a call for an upgarde, asked them where they got my number from, he said from head office in cardiff, told them to remove my number from there list. see if they ring back! i hung up after 30 seconds.

I didnt answer it as didnt know the number!

It's worrying to hear that these scum can reverse the charges without us knowing.  How do they do that?  Do they have to make us press any buttons or do we have no way of knowing that they are doing it?

I usually just try to waste their time, keep them taking for 5 minutes or so, hoping that if it costs them too much to get any business they'll give up pissing people off and do something legal for a living.  I've not noticed anything appear on the bills yet.

Received a call this afternoon but I didn't answer it as I didn't recognise the number.  Is this something to worry about?

Recieved a call this morning, and managed to get my number 'scrubbed off the list', yet i'm still recieving calls off them (3 so far). Apparently they're some mobile survey company based in Cardiff (a load of b/s basically)
