my partner had a call similar to these about a month ago from a similar number it was vodafone and they gave him 15pounds worth of free credit . i was rippin cause they never bloody phone me!

What a willies they are,

They call me 3 times, I answer 3 of them.

1st I was polite and I refused their offer
2nd call I was angry. I refused their offer and asked them to remove my name from their data base.
3rtd time I burp as loud as you can image, they put the phone down on me...how rude is that when I was just communicating in they language!!!

Please don't answer these calls, this is the kind of company you are dealing with...

This time this call came in the middle of a realy important project... luckily the project won over the answering of the call, however.. what I've done is saved it as an unwanted caller so when they ring again.. at least I can see it's a bunch of [***] salespeople ignore it happily

Has anyone told these cold calling muppets that nearly everyone is struggling financially at the moment and if we wanted to change contracts we would pop into phones 4 u and grab a new handset and a wad of cash, I have had 11 missed calls in 2 days and quite frankly am beggining to get p***ed off, I am working as a nurse in the community and keep having to leave patients so that I can answer phone (in case its an emergency)I dont believe it they have tried to ring as I am typing this, does anyone know how to get them to stop ringing???

I keep receiving calls of this number but as it was unknown to me I did not answer. Would love to know who it is?

If anyone watched Watchdog on BBC1 this week (Monday 15th Dec) they did an expose on these type of companies, based in Cardiff, who ring you up and offer to reduced the insurance that you already have on on mobile, but what they are doing is offering you additional insurance,(not needed) and sometimes even worthless insurance. It is a complete scam and should be avioded at all costs.

I've recently received a few missed calls from this number, and after seeing the number of complaints here I thought I'd call Ofcom (one of the phone regulators) to ask about it.  They suggested that you:

a) register with the Telephone Preference Service (0845 070 0707), which stops a lot of these types of marketing calls - though note it can take up to 28 days to come into effect after registering your number; and

b) if problems persist, consider speaking to your phone operator to get the number barred.

They then logged my complaint against the 02920822637 number and said that - if they received enough complaints - they would conduct a formal investigation.  As such, I would also recommend everyone give Ofcom a quick call on 0300 123 3333 (these new 03 numbers are meant to be pretty cheap too - even from mobiles).

What an absolute bunch of tossers, they keep phoning my mobile and if you answer they ask you all sorts of dumb questions and do not listen when you say no thanks. Just hang up or even better, dont answer!!!

I used to work for these many years ago and they are not a SCAM company but they are a very poor company. They use a dial up system (was just in place when i was there) to call you so you wont hear anything for a while then someone will answer. They will offer a really poor deal on a phone which you will find better. When i was there (not sure if it is the same now mind)they used to do a 10 pound credit check where the sales people make there money. Used to be the credit check was the sales persons bonus. They used to get the number from orange, 3 mobile, o2 etc codes 0795151... and call the 999 numbers from that code (usally pay and go codes). I worked on the customer service side and we used to get so many calls saying they were mis-sold a mobile phone from the people on the floor below us. They do try to sack people who mis-sell or are abusive but when i was there but they dont try very hard.

My advice is to (if you want a new phone of course) look at their website for selling phones www.mobileheaven.com and see if you can find a better deal elsewhere. If not and you want your number taken off their lists try 0870 950 0785 (it is national rate mind) and get your number taken off from their customer services team.

Got a call from them! Called them back adn they had a vague idea of what i was talking about. Mention the telephone preference system to them. they go away

Got 2 calls today from 2 similar numbers but ignored them. Glad I did now

the offered me a free ipod so i gave my adress and a week later i recieved it

these guys are tools. they keep ringing me even when i have andwered and told them my phones a company phone.. i work for o2.. and have told them so . but they still keep ringing
