This number called me this morning, I answered the call but nobody spoke and after a few seconds the caller hung up!

I've received simlair calls following an upgrade of my mobile account on t-mobile. Told them that I upgraded last week so they were too late. They tried to make me cancel under the DSA, I told them no thanks, not interested. I`ve got the phone I wanted why would I want to return it and then get another one !!!  They wouldn`t take no for an answer so I hung up the call. They keep on phoning.
Have now complained to OFCOM and registered number on the TPS.  If they phone again, I'll let them know.  Pain in the backsides they are.

I've had 11 missed calls off these people in 3 days - how do I stop this!!!!

Sorry to say that I'm currently working for this company. Simply as a stop gap as I have recently moved to Wales. It's just a very poorly run business full of chav employees. I'll be out the door as soon as I can afford it, the sooner the better. I consider myself to be very honest so always make it 100% clear where the call is from and the purpose of the it  but sadly many others aren't and mislead people and act in a very obnoxious way on the phone. Basically comms direct aren't outright scammers, just a really [***] business with very poor quality control.

Have call 12 times in tha pst 3 days using both the numbers, when i reject the call thay call back 5 mins later on a differnet number. Will not answer any calls unless i know the number beacuse of scams like this - they'll leave a message if important.

Calling say can supply Tetra radio and set up service, after i'm make payment he say item send, when i check tracking number he give is fake ! calling again he say is royal mail problem ( but i'm calling royal mail to confirm royal mail say tracking number Un-active !! ), ask him claim from royal mail, he disagree.

Got a call from "Comms Direct" this morning, have called 3 days in a row at the same time (2pm). Offered my a fabulous sounding new contract with 3G & didn't sound too impressed when I said I needed to think about it & call back. Not my practice to accept cold calls, let alone what they are offering! Caller was Welsh, definitely calling from a call centre. Had no real details about my current contract, suspect details on previous thread about them fishing using a random number generator is correct. Website looks kosher, but not impressed by the cold calling method!

im 15, and on 3 network and got a call from the 02920822640 number at 11:55 on 14/08/09. I missed the call but called them back but just no answer, they kept on telling me that they had a large amount of calls and would put me through to an operator asap...but that never happened.

What is this number and how come so many people have recieved a call and are fretting about it??

I got a call at 3.40 am from this number2347058728012 a Nigerian man  answered when i called back and said that I was very lucky. When I asked him how he got my number he did not answer. I then hung up.

Got a call from this number on Good Friday morning enjoying some cherished time with my little girl. Did not answer and did not appreciate the interruption!  The same number has called yesterday but fortunately I was in a meeting.

Unsolicited calls several times today from girl selling 3G mobile packages.
Checked with 3G. They sell the same packages but much cheaper!

I was getting repeated calls from the all 8 number of Houston Fountian and Pond. I ask what must of been the owner, Patrick Purcell to stop calling. He flew into a rage and continued to call me a bit*ch and and ni*ger. I have this recorded.
