I got called by these people a lot and like a lot of you I do not answer numbers that I do not know. Try adding the number to your contacts and see if you have an option to send it straight to voicemail as they never leave any anyway.

Ive just upgraded my phone and kept the same contract, and thy still ring me. I havnt answered any but im getting calls about 3 times a day from the same number, for the past 2 weeks or so. So annoying.

Have been pestered by these suckers for months (about 2-3 times a month).
As I recieve a lot of calls on the mobile - I usually pick it up and are forced to listen to their rubbish (and sometimes suggesting they are affiliated to T-mobile).
What I do now is log their numbers in my phone book as ******SPAM****** and when they call, answer the phone and put it straight down.
Got em 7 times like this yesterday!!

This caller has phoned my mobile everyday for the last week!  They donb't leave a message and don't respond when I call back.  I have tried ignoring the calls but they keep calling!

They ring me everyday for the last couple of weeks... I answer everytime telling to stop ringing me - never works - so frustrating....

Just got called by these Muppets for the fifth time in 24 hours.

I spoke to them the first time and asked them to stop. They have rung and rung again. This time was the limit and I just tore into the guy on the other end. Its probably only made the situation worse but it made me feel better! Next time its off to trading standards

My contract is almost up for expiry, i am happy to continue with it yet missed 6 calls from this number over the last 36 hrs, registered with tps now so hope it stops

Missed a call from 02920822640 today...by the sounds of things its a good thing too. How they got my number in anyones guess becuase i never give it to randommers or websites etc.
Could it be an O2 leak or is it an external system that comms' direct have that generates possible mobile numbers?
If they call again they are having it!

This phone number along with other phone numbers similar to it, are from a company called Communications Direct. A very annoying call centre which each and every one of us should hang up on every time. They are just nuisance callers.

I keep getting calls from this number and returned the call to find it was answered "Communications Direct......" I also have had calls from 01792 (Swansea) numbers I picked one call up yesterday and this was also from Communications Direct about my phone contract, told them I was at work and couldn't talk but they have called me on numerous occasions after 5 too. Its likely that this company is paying for all of our data from another source......???

Mobile companies are given a block of phone numbers that they can put onto their sim cards by some telephone authority - obviously you don't want two mobile companies to use the same mobile numbers. Companies like Communications Direct etc are able to find out what range of numbers have been handed out to which different mobile companies and they know what numbers are technically valid and from what date they (the block of numbers) were released. That is why if you answer the call, they will know what network you are on, but not if you are contract or pay as you talk.

My guess is that all the people who have posted in the last month all have similiar phone numbers. Since the cold callers know when the block of numbers were given to the mobile service providers, they can make an educated guess that the people they are now calling started using their SIM at around about the time last year (since they were the numbers only recently given out and are probably being sold). Since they can work that out, the logic reasoning is that those on contracts will be having their annual contracts up for renewal soon....

It is Communications Direct. Tried to move me to another contract and off T-Mobile. He hung up on me when I started saying I would contact HIM in a week when I was ready to do anything about it. Next time they call (if they call) I will just SHOUT that I have just be diagnosed as being partially deaf and have been told to stop using my mobile.
