I got a call lots of missed calls from this number today - saying they were a phone company and asked about my t-mobile contract - i said i have never heard of them and he politely told me that they were one of the biggest communications provider(not to my knowledge)

Any how said i had another contract and not to call again - cant believe how many missed calls a day i have had from them! thing is its not just that company T-mobile seemed to have provided alot of people with my mobile number who have rang to get me to take a new contract out with them.

Hi - have been receiving these calls twice a day, every day for the last three weeks.  I think I received one when my contract was on 12 months in (have an 18 month contract...).  I answered the first call to say "I'm at work, don't call me during office hours" - but they are very stupid and continue to call me during office hours - to which I can't answer because I'm working.  They are really getting on my nerves and won't stop, so thought I'd try to find out who they were - I knew it was mobile-related, but I didn't think they'd be this persistent.  Anyhow, now I know who they are, I can continue to really p**s them off and continue not answering their calls....

I tried to find a company e-mail to annoy them a little bit, but surprisingly I couldn't find one. If everyone that received calls from them sent them an e-mail, I'm sure they'd soon stop their pain in the a**e tactics...

I was called by this company today, very rude person on the end of the line. I think the most annoying thing is that they phrase their introduction as something like; " hey, I'm calling from Communications Direct regarding your t-mobile contract".  I think this is really misleading and quite saddening that many must be taken in from the word go, assuming they are a division of t-mobile legitamately calling you.

Have called me at least twice a day for the last week!!!

ringing daily even when at work which is not allowed.no idea where they got my mobile number from or who it is. but I wish they would stop.

Get a call at least once a day from 02920822640 on my mobile (use it for family & emergency calls only); seems that my number has been randomly generated & this is from a company called Communications Direct who are a phone sales company. I have TPS on this phone, but obviously this may not work for a random number caller. I simply send a busy signal & will try and report to ofcom (who don't seem that interested) when I get a chance...

Hi - further to my comment above, I have anonymously e-mailed this company (info@commsdirect.net) as I don't want them to get my name or home address and attached a letter that stated if they continued to call me, I would take action against them.  The letter template I used can be found at ConsumerWiki - Harassment by telephone - response letter (sorry, don't have the webpage details to hand).  To avoid them getting my name from my e-mail, I set up a hotmail account specifically for the message but think I will keep it, just in case...

Strangely enough - I haven't received a single phone call from them today - but also, I've not had a response to my e-mail (maybe they think they can't contact me that way either???).  It might just be a day when they can't be bothered with me or they've tried every day for the last month and not gotten anywhere, so they're giving up - I don't know....

But I thought it might be useful information for anyone else out there.  Maybe if they get enough of these e-mails from lots of different people, they might get the message???  Yeah, and pigs might fly!!!

Just got a call from 02920822640.  Didn't answer as I had a scam call from an 0871 number only 2 weeks ago.  Sick of receiving telemarketing calls so I've registered with TPS.

ohmygod, this number is driving me insane! im getting 6 or 7 calls per day.

they tried to tell me i had given them by bank details, when i haven't. they even read out a card number to me, i have tried being nice, rude and even hanging up but they don't seem to get the hint!

they say they are calling from "mobile heaven" from the sounds of it they are attempting to get Bank Details from you it looks a bit fishy to me!

^ This is the exact same thing happening to me, three different but strangely similar numbers (I also got called from 02920368797) have had five calls TODAY ALONE!! Whenever I answer I'm told 'COMMUNICATIONS DIRECT'. I'm re-posting this message everywhere right now.
I am also on T-Mobile...hmm.  
Extremely irritating considering I have asked them to remove me from their system twice apparently to no avail. Will keep trying...!

calls me 4 times a day

I keep receiving calls from 02920822640 claiming to be T-Mobile and asking me questions about my price plan and halfway through they let slip that they are not T-Mobile but actually Communications Direct.
I have asked them a number of times to stop calling as I have renewed my contract, but they never listen and keep on calling anyway.
I got fed up at these nuicance calls and told one man to get it into his head and he said "I know but... oh f**k it" and put the phone down on me.
They also ring me on 01792474700 right after the above number so I just ignore it.
It's getting really annoying and I want to find a way to stop these people calling for good. Does anyone have any suggestions??

They phone at least twice a day. I don't even answere it anymore, when I did it just went dead.

this number calls me everyday and i am working when they call. called them back no answer for 20 mins so hung up. i work in a call centre and we would never call anyone as much as they call me.

My wife and I had the same call within seconds of each other. Our t-mobile contract is up at the end of March. At least I can disregard the calls now I know who it is.
