someone also called me from this number her name is kimberly sangalang and she asked for personal identification unfortunately i send it because she said that she's from metrobank... what should i do?

Same here... at start I bought his story na tga Metrobank cya. But then he started asking personal info details like middle name, address, date of birth. And I thought that "Isn't he supposed to know the details already, if I were to receive a Credit Card from the bank?"... so, what I did is I pretended that I'm loosing signal and cut him off the line.

But he did get those personal information. tsk

i also received a call from this number 029883400 but it hanged up. So, i try to search the number in the Internet and i found this. But i already have a Metrobank credit card.

I have receive a call this day July 18 2011around 2:20pm, after a call i search out this no.029883400, and see this site, give me more questions in mind. And that caller told me that I`m selected to have a credit card with no means of hassle transactions.
Sadly our Metrobank near us is close by their office hours, when i go there to ask. I don`t care if its true, all I care and hope is not to have any problem with it. Is anyone of you give problems of it? hope not, because I don`t want to be one.

I just received this call 2 hrs ago from a guy named jermaine pretending he's from metrobank card. He knew some of my personal infos and asked other infos and unfortunately i gave out some work infos. I checked out the number and it belonged to Metrobank Card Corp with an address at 16F PSBANK bldg Ayala ave,makati. I tried to call back the number but was already unavailable. I inquired this matter with metrobank, they don't have any idea, instead, they referred me to call their toll free # 8700-700, 1-800-1888-5775 (for provincial areas only) for assistance. Probably this # was hacked thru voip and was over-ridden by a computer program so that any outbound calls will be rejected. Calling METROBANK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this number also called me. nasagot ko pero walang sumasagot sa kabilang line. who among you have an idea who owns the number? thank you

I called metrobank thru their tollfree number since i'm from laguna.
they told me it ain't a haux and the guy who called me is a real guy from their acquisitions project division.  And the number who called me is one of their numbers daw..
Does anyone here know the real score.. am getting confused.

Hi guys. I also got a call from this number few days ago. I've spoke with a girl (unfortunately I forgot her name) and she asked a lot of information. I thought this is for real 'coz she asked to me send documents to acquisitions@metrobankcard.com. the email address appears to be not a scam though so I did what she said. And today, out of the blue I just searched their number here in the net and found this site. Upon reading your posts, I am really afraid. They have my scanned IDs and vital information. I'm afraid they might use it in fraudulent activity. I hope Shang's post above can save from this dilemma

im soo afraid i got a call last july 27 around 1:20pm, from this #09175524635..just a minute of interval
of 2 missed calls from this # 09088958047 and 09285509355.. well. after the girl said (unfortunately I can't remember her name coz she was speaking too fast) that she was from metrobank credit card and im a qualifier to have one coz i have  savings account from the bank..so without any hesitation i gave all my information including all my personal preference. the following day I called metrobank hotline regarding this and checking if they really forward my "application" to them. But sad to
say I'm not in their system.... im so afraid.. what can i do? Are the bank aware of this? pls help..

i received  a call from this number moments ago from kimberly, claiming that she's a credit card telemarketer.. I thought its for real. so I gave all the infos she's asking. when i read all this post, im bothered. what will she do with all those infos she got from me? Metrobank!!! calling your attention!!! How did this people got my personal number in the first place???? I'm really, really scared!!!

hi I also receives a call from 029883400 just now at around 2:49pm.
He said that he's from metrobank and blah. . blah. . . so i ask him who do you want to talk to aba ang sagot eh ako daw and then tanungin ba nmn ako anu name ko . nainis ako kaya sinabi ko na gasgas na style mo kung wla ka magawa magsuicide ka para di na sya makaperwisyo ng iba at wag na wag na sya tatawag. after that phone conversation I barred the number on my phone though he keeps on calling again kc nga baka napahiya o naasar his call wont go through ever again kc naka-barring na sya sa mobile ko.
