ako rin nakarecieved call sa number na to 029883400  at 09285509360 parehong oras na naregistered sa phone ko 09:54 kahapon lang 08/11/11.d ko naman nasagot kasi nasa biyahe ko.nung search ko to lumabas,buti na lang.hehehe

I got so many calls from this number and also they have been calling my house. Ang advice ko hwag entertainin ang mga calls kung wala ako. I got a few calls from 029883400, grabe ang dami and also from cellphone number 09084126943. Simultaneous ang mga tawag sa cell at sa phone. Ang sabi ng mom ko yung tumawag sa house from Metrobank - Makati. Kung tinext ko to inquire baka friend ko ang sago sa akin... ".h?;)" yan mismo ang text bank nya. Scam eto for sure.

ganun din skin mga bro, metrobank, angela flores agent, dpat dto s mga to, pinapatay na.  para wala salot sa lipunan.  bigyan nyo ko iba info nila, ng mbigyan ng lekyson, .  ung number nila eto tumwag skin, 09088958047 09285509351 at 9883400,  mdmi tanong kya di  normal sa mga totoong agent, at agressive mxado gusto agad malaman info ko, unlike sa iba agent madali kausap pag resched ang interview.

according to him he's working from metrobank, makati, and needed info's for application of credit card ..
he's asking for my complete birthdate but i refused to give the informations he needed...
i told him that i am not interested in applying a credit card..

i also got a call from from this number 9883400 telling that someone refer me for metrobank credit mastercard. He said that he is from metrobank makati and he's is asking for some personal information. But i was hesitant because i also think that this is maybe a scam so i ask first for his contact information and from what department he is then i said to him to call again later because i'm busy. What i did is call metro bank hotline 8 700 900 to confirm if this guy is really legit and the agent from metro bank confirm that they have an employee name Mao Liparoda from telemarketing dept. Also got call from 09175524635 but wasn't able to answer it when i search it, it brought me here so i guess it's the same. My suggestion to you guys is that also dare to ask info from the caller if you are also uncertain to give some personal information.

Hi guys, just received a call from 09175524665. Apparently, not in the list of numbers mentioned above, but has the same style. Telling na may nagrefer sakin, which is true naman, but still I am hesitant. The caller is MAU, and asked me to send my payslip to acquisitions@metrobankcard.com Good thing di ko pa nasend sa kanya.

People let's not try to be stupid and open our minds. The number 02-988-3400 is actually a default number of metrobank card that's why you cannot call this number because this is designated for outgoing calls only. As a part of their jobs, they call people asking them if they wanted to apply for a credit card and later on require specifics about yourself if you are interested.

This is not a scam and I am not from Metrobank, let's just not try to be stupid at times. You can call metrobank at 8700700 to have them check this number for verification.

Actually, you're just plain stupid believing in this people. I refered a lot of my friends thru my metrobank and called 8700700 for the status of their applications. The agent told me that she will follow up the applications to the ACQUISITIONS department. Then I was told that I could also follow up on the email address of the acquisitions department at the same eadd you have stated on your note. You people are fools and you believe easily to what others are saying. Only in da pilipins nga naman.

I agree that we sometimes do have to protect our identity to avoid threats/thefts etc. But If you will just open your mind and think why these people call you, you might figure out that these people are just doing their jobs to meet their daily quota. It's up to you if you would give your personal details to them.

hi natawag nga din sakin ang number na yan 029883400 pati 09088958055 na sinave ko,yan ang unang tumawag sakin at ganun din sa metrobank makati nga siya girl  JN something ang name nya.. so after lahat ng info sabihin ko, bigla akong napa isip teka baka scam nga ito.. but then again after 2-3wks tumawag ulit then after days natanggap kona ang  credit card ko. tapos ngayon tumatawag yung  02.988.34.00 pero di ko na sinagot. pretending na busy ako or di ko narinig ang tawag or naka silent lang ang cellphone. hehe

but i do have credit card now.. nung tumawag sila sa akin.

Maybe 2 months na nagtiyatiyaga sa akin ung number na 029883400 na tumawag ng tumawag, pero lagi ko namang nakakaligtaan. malimit kasing silent cp ko. nacucurious kasi ako gawa lagi na lang tumatawag. then nagsearch ako ngayon, iyon nga, nalilito na ako senyo. confused na isip ko eh. di ko naman matyempohang tumatawag sa akin. Do i have to answer that call or not?

Verify first the complete name,dept.,and local then call at 8700 700 or 1800 1888 5775(provincial).then also think before reacting. Now Go. call metrobank. And at the end of the day pag nalaman mu na valid yung agent you will just smile and will said ayy oo nga noh tapos kamot ulo.

sa misis ko rin me natawag galing sa number na to. pero nakakapagtaka alam nya kasi na metrobank yung banko na pidalhan ko.
