I just received a call from this number asking me if I am Malaysian or not! I told the lady caller that I was not Malaysian. She asked for my country and I told her. She then said thank you and hung up..

It was a AIA telemarketers, try to sell insurance.
They bought our personal data from the 3rd. party.

dapat kol dalam minggu lepas.. katanya P1 wimax nak bg insuran AIA free 90 hari...
pastu sembang2 plak.. nak bg insuran lain tp kena bayar 40 sebulan.. siap mintak no debit kad.. nsib baik aku tak de debit kad kalo tak kena scam dah..

ak pn kena,,tapi silapnya ak xpk panjang tadi..siap bg no debit kad lg..lpas dh bg mklumt smua ak coll smula dorang tapi xdapat..lpas google kat tenet baru tahu benda ni spam..tipu je smua..nasib baik duit xkena kebas..debit kad maybank ak trus block, xpasal2 kena buat baru..huhu

I just got called by this number 03-20371666 introducing her self that she from
PWMAX on behalf of AIA insurance... giving 3 months free life insurance..to spouse amounting RM30,000.00.
She mention my age and she give me different Identity Card Number.....what make me laugh is that she said that am 20 year old   of age and now am almost 49 years old
I shouted at her where the hell you got my number and I didnt registered PWMAX , Is this some  kind of scam thing. I told her I will report this matter to the police. She hung up...lol.
I think this malay girl is joining with the black  to do the scamming.

I also rcvd call from this no. N claimed that they r calling from aia. Luckilly i got friend who is working wif AIA call centre..Acuatlly they r calling from aia telemarketing dprtmnt n the reason y they r calling just to promote their products.. N y sumetimes they use produa, p1's name? Becoz they have collebaration n join marketing.. I dun think that they all r cheating the customers, its all about the skills..    As wut my friend mentioned to me, the product tht they offer via phone is simple n cheaper.. I believe there is so many ways on making business n i thnk they r trying to get more customers n tiada unsur2 penipuan. Maybe depends to the staff la how they approach the customer.. Mcm2 cara nak bisnes skrg.. Even makcik cleaner pun bole jual2 gula2 dalam toilet.. I thnk tak salah  apa yg mereka buat tapi cara tak betol..

Terima nombor 0320371666. cakap pasal AIA n Visa kad. Mati2 aku cakap aku taknak, puas dia pujuk rayu, still jugak aku taknak. Then minta reason kenapa aku tak nak. Bodoh!  Then aku cakap aku nak  meeting. Akan call balik nanti. So dia bagi no phone ni.. 0320561111 ext 26036. namanya Nas. So..beware friends..

Sebenarnya "scam" nie dah lama wujud kat dunia nie, started in the USA  as far in the 70's~80''s lah, where the corporate platform dia kuat berbanding dengan kat M'sia nie yg baru nak bangun dan maju.

Scam nie selalu berjaya because bile dia orang tanya korang punye IC number tu betul ke tak, korang secara tak sengaja confirm yg the ic no. is yours, so automatically dah jadi target untuk methods yg selanjutnya yg diaorang akan 'hidangkan'.
Why? Your info mereka dah lama pegang (MYEG, TM, college transcript, resume, etc.), tapi mereka must confirm your identity sebelum teruskan kerja2 nie.
Jadi just say salah nombor ke, salah orang ke pun dah cukup to deny them of their harassment attempt tactics.

JUST BE VERY VERY RELUCTANT GIVING AWAY YOUR MONETARY/CREDIT INFO, because once diaorang dah dapat sedikit info pun from you, consider yourself bookmarked for their future harassment lah.

mean bnda ni tipu ke?? bab sy dh bg detail sume kt dia termasuk debit card num... dia de bg num cust service tuk AIA ngan num ext tuk dia... so, sekarang ni nk confirmkan ni tipu ke betul erk?? bab gaji bakal masuk kt maybank.... kang free je dia tolak uit dlm tu....

i pun de dpt kol from 03-20371666... offer AIA insurance policy... then pe sume dia de bg num opis siap ngan ext sekali... bila cek num yg dia bg tu mmg num tel HQ AIA pun... so, xtually leh dipercayai atau x... sebab num fon yg dia bg tu mmg btul...

On 06th June 2011/ Monday, i got 2 missed calls from  03-27818181 and 2 missed calls from 03-20371666. When i call back the number, there is no answer at all...erm, tension already.

same as me.. i received 1 call from 0320371666...
said from AIA insurance...
but told me to call back...
wth?????
no way man...waste my credit ...

if i alr give him my mastercard no.
now i lapor hilang card, is safe?
