guys if the caller claim call from golden palace o mines actly they promoting their hotels and products. Their office jst behind mid valley. if realy they are call then they not cheat u guys. they will talk to only salary above 3K per month. They will pick ur num randomly and will amke calls.its a tele marketing group. i worked there for few months after studies. if u call no body will pick up bcoz its a general num.

this syndicate just called me today saying tomorrow there is an hotel visit event. they asked if i have any platinum card and i believe they are targetting victim with high purchasing power. it is not ethical to use golden horse palace hotel name to conduct such a activity. for me this is a scam

received the call from number 03-2175 4999 at 11.30am on 5th Jan 2012, name of the caller is Nelly.. free stuff give away (3D/2N holiday,spa and so on...).. targeting market around 30-35 old, house income must be above RM4,500,
preview at 3pm and 7pm, got references number also, W8215..
after see all this comment, going to ignore the nuber, can we block it through iPhone?

the same number 03-21754999 keeps calling me too. i just ignore it but then got sms from 012-2368938, asking me to call back, the sender name ms.Viji.

do so think it is a scam..

got this kol too..they claimed they got my no from the form which I fill in during my visit to Food Fair Midvalley last week..they said the hotel will held a publicity event...hohohoho..when i asked what type of event they just said that they want to take me for a private tour around palace of golden horses hotel and also cn try their medical..wtf...they will give me a 2d 1n voucher hotel in lgkwi,PD, Kajang Resort Villa or Cameron Highlands and also a mini party..they said only 30 lucky people is chosen for this oppurtunity..hahahahaha...
I have agreed to attend their event this sat..they will send me sms for booking no n voucher no..maybe I will go just to grab their voucher..and hopefully my baby will cry all the time when I bring her to this event so that I cn escape their bull***t promotion..

Me to... i got the same call and sms from this number last Saturday, they are from Palace of Golden Horses invitation to celebrate a chines new year and to spend time about 1 hour time then you get a token such as a free trip to PD, etc... (can't remember) all accommodation for a trip are free. can bring husband, kids & nanny. lucky i am not going....

just receive a call from this number today... katanya jemputan ke palace of golden horses utk claim voucher percuma 3h 2m, voucher buffet (buy 1 free 1) dgn voucher cruise...katanya lg promosi drpd hotel tu sndr...sy minta dia emailkan details sbb mcm xclear...kononnya free gift utk matta fair selangor yg br je blangsung 10-12 feb 2012...dia sms dgn no ni 0169659424 ... katanya bincang dulu dgn family cmne...pastu sy terus check kt website hotel, no tel sgt blainan..then type la no ni...then tjumpa page ni...tq so much for the info..slmt drpd jd mangsa... =)

I got the same call today from the same number.
This time they hired someone who could speak perfect English.
I believe this time they hired an INDIAN NATIONAL. This lady spoke immaculately.
Even got my name somewhat correct.
Saying I have to come today or tomorrow and attend a medical seminar at POGH and I will in turn get a 3day 2 night free package holiday trip to anywhere in Port Dickson/Cameron Highlands, etc.
She further added that I am the selected few who are chosen bla, bla.

I asked who are the organizers,and who is she representing. She couldn't provide me with more logical references. She replied POGH, which didn't make any sense. They wouldn't want to simply hand out free stays to everybody would they? If it was a pharmaceutical company it would've made more sense.

Anyway this is a HOAX, SCAM and BE CAREFUL PEOPLE. Do not offer anymore information of yourself.

Weird, a 5 star Hotel representative speak full Malay. =_="" it does sounds tempting but then still doubting it. asked them to call tomorrow.. need to discuss with hubby.. (as if i'm going to answer tomorrow!) Nothing comes free in this world. urghh.. The requirement for this 'promotion' is 28-58 years old. no need to pay anything. just RM6 parking. Got off the phone, straight search for it in google.. and found this page. :) thank god.

Baru dpt satu invitation dr Mr.Khairil dtg ke POGH atas alasan selected people yg dtg ke MotoEXPO 2012....dah baca artikel dalam ni, kecut perut nak dtg POGH. Takut kena tipu dan terpedaya dgn sistem pemasaran bercuti n mcm2 lgih. Huh.... ignore je number ni.

This all tele marketing.. and sometime they have been paid by the hotels to promote their rooms.. and normally you have to listen to the talk for 2 hours before you can get the voucher or worst you are been forced to buy the loyalty card before you get the free voucher...

kekeke and if you wonder how they can get your contact no?? there are companies who gather hp no and sale it to the telemarketing business same goes to our email... they collect your no from any contest form, at expo like motoxpo or any lucky draw form at shopping mall..
