I got the same call from this number 032788888. It also give the same issue on KLIA.
Since so many people already got this, it is surely a false one.
I also doesn't own AmBank credit card.
I check AmBank credit card number it is 0321788888. Wow this number is close:)

Same as everyone, I received the call and felt a bit surprised since I don't have a credit card with AmBank. I chose to speak to the operator but the line was rather lag, I tried to drag his time by asking more question while he offered to help me check by asking my details. I then asked him to give me AmBank number so that I can verify with AmBank as I am suspecting this is a scam, that was what I told him. He gave me a toll free number and I called, apparently it was AmBank customer service line. I spoke to the representative and he asked me the phone number that I received the call, I read it out and was told 'this is a scam call'! AmBank receives complaints of this number everyday!

The syndicate hacked into all Malaysia's Banks to get customers details and trying to make business. AmBank representative told me that I may receive calls from RHB or Hong Leong in the future as it the past, the syndicate told 'used' the name of Maybank for the same 'activity'.

So......please spread the words and help all our families and friends to avoid giving out their personal details, very important, not to reveal your IC number, any pin of the online banking or ATM card, credit card numbers and etc.

I just received a call from the same number. And asking for transaction approval. Im not that dumb to proceed with such loser call. !

i think this is a fraud call, pls ignore. find the ambank no n bank negara no by yourself. dont trust on the number provided by them. direct go to the bank n ask

that guy cant speak English, ask me to communicate in mandarin or Cantonese, I ask his name, staff id, he gave me, but when I asked his company email, he replied me ' am I from ambank or you are the one from ambank'? he seemed annoyed. From the conversation, he did not look like a staff used to work in a corporate, no telephone courtesy at all

received call from this no. 03-21888888, but i choose not to pick up *1 missed call*. suddenly, i receive a voicemail from that no. & saying that they're fom Ambank & i owe them RM3K++. yeah rite. scam / prank call.. definitely =.="

Dont entertain this no. I just called this no during lunch hr.  Totally a scam!!

KNN bank scammers! How to catch them ar? Since they reveal their phone number... by the way, anyone reported to the police?? The number is clearly on my phone +603 2188 8888. Ambank phone scam.

Yesterday i also receive a call from a machine requesting for approval for a transaction in KLIA amounting RM 3000++.
I said i never had a credit card from AmBank and the operator requested for me to call bank negara and make a report for investigation. Then bank negara will fill up a report and send it to Ambank HQ and he (the bank) will not charge me anything.

I tried to call the bnak negara no given today several times but its not in service.

I was speaking to Lawrence yesterday but today the no is no longer in service. All that i manage to give is my full name on contact no only.

As a matter of discussion, if it is a fraud scheme or whatsoever, how do you think and what is their objective? Surely they want our money, but from what kind of info do they need and how will they withdraw our money?

I just call AMBANK Service Center and they say that they receive complaints regarding this FRAUD hundreds of times a day. Their advise is just IGNORE the calls eventhough you have given some fundamental particulars of yourself.

The modus operandi of this group is, they will fish you and make you go to the bank and transfer the money in your account to their account.

Spread the news to our family and friends so that they are not fished by such scams.

Definitely a scam! confirmed with AMBANK customer service

I just received a call from this number- with the same msg! No ambank card/account whatsoever! I just hung up when i heard..

Received a call, they left the same voice message as above, and i dont have any Ambank CC, so it definitely a SCAM.

I received this number twice, one on 13/2/2014 and 21/2/2014 saying that i have a transaction pending to approve 3K++....press 1 to approve, 2 to dicline and 9 to speak to our cust service. i pressed 9 and the phone went on mute.

It's a scam phone call, my case was related to "Ambank credit card" and pre-recorded machine voice told me to pay RM3k++

Just receive call from this number saying there is a pending transaction from Ambank. It's an Non Professional recorded voice call. It's totally a prank call.

I don't own a AmBank account and I never made this transaction :/

Do not entertain, help spread the words, my friend kena scam, transfer all the saving account money to those [***]....let God punish them. My friend lost RM30,000 for it
