got a call from inspector Chong today at about 1.30pm.  He call from unknown number and told me he is from police headquarter.  I immediately sensed that this is a prank call and passed it to my husband.  The so called Insp Chong hang up the phone.  Then he call me again and this time with Bukit Aman number 20319999 and told me the same story.  So I asked for his full name - Chong Boo Kheng and when I told him I don't think there is a Insp Chong in Bukit Aman Jenayah Komersial division, he got pissed off and challenged me to meet him in Bukit Aman.  So I told him I will check with my friend in Bukit Aman and he hung up his phone.  I supposed he will call me again since I didn't give him any chance to blaa his story.

I got the same scram story like this today.  
I told him  "Since you know all my info, you should know my place of living too,...come to my house to have a cup of tea, I will have my lawyer to assist you too.." He hangs up immediately.

Same case!!! Called me on Friday 13Apr.
This time this guy said his name was "Wong Chiang Seng". Asking whether I know this guy name Azmi bin Osman.

Hi, I have the exact same scenario as yours. What happened after that? Did you go to the police station? Or did you just ignore them?

I received a call from this very same no. today as well. But much drama was added on to make it more convincing i guess. Firstly i got an automated message from POS Malaysia notifying me that there have been several letters from High Court sent to me which i failed to respond. Next the message prompted me to speak to an operator who has asked for my name and IC for verification. Minutes letter this 03-22662222 called and identified himself as Inspector Mohamad Ridzuan bin Adbul from Bukit Aman and the letters from high court supposedly had something to do with money laundering. Instead of the Chinese guys as per the earlier stories, he asked me if i know an Azmi bin Osman, who's involved with money laundering, as my account passbook was among one of the evidences seized when Azmi guy got nabbed. Somewhere along the line, Bank Negara was also dragged into the picture cos they were said to be undertaking a secret investigation as well. Anyway, just beware..

This morning around 10am I received a call from Mohd Saiful Bin Ismail with h/phone : 010-2966050 claiming that he is Sarjan from 'Jenayah Commercial Department' ( see Department name also saying wrong). Other story was same with above -- Hong Kong Inspector called Lo Keong, tel: 0085268850844 had caught 2 men (Lam Hong Hin & Yap Chun Hong) 2 weeks ago whose got my details and claimed that I was their partner who help to use ' wang haram'  ( Money Laundering Case). He asked me to call this Hong Kong Inspector to settle the case else will ' invite ' me to Bukit Aman to drink coffee.

I received the call was from this no.: 0060320319999.

By this morning only I received 3 calls from 0060320319999. Last 2 calls on 11.15am & 11.16am.
Since I know this is a scam call from this page, I just ignored the calls. I don't think they can do anything on me and I will log a police report tonight.

I really don't believe a Malay guy who speak in Bahasa but NO Malay slang but very fluently in Mandarin. The Malay guy called - Mohd Saiful Bin Ismail said from Bukit Aman.

New update, i just got it today... time also around 1pm... but the story has change... 1st, a call from this number +97777477363, pos careline, saying that there is a letter from Malaysia High Court unable to serve to you and has directed to Bkt Aman. After that, they directly link the call to Bkt Aman after giving a reference number to trace the document.

when connected to Bkt Aman, a malay guy answer the call and said he is ASP bla bla bla... and ask what can i help you?... then i ask him to check the reference number given. then he request my name, i/c no. and telephone number as usual and said will call back after 15minutes.

then he called back and said i was involve in a syndicate crime "penyelewangan wang hitam" asking me whether do i know a malay guy of name bla bla bla... i cant remember the name. Then he future request how many banks account do you have, so that he could check whether how many account is involved.

then after that he said a report will be send over to Bank Negara and the staff will call you in 30 minutes time and please follow the instruction and be cooperative. but after that i didn't asnwer the rest of the calls, and proceed to freeze all my bank account from any translation and make a police report.

i just received a call from 03-22662222. the guy was speaking in Malay, introduced himself as an inspector from bkt aman. I requested him to speak in English, but he couldn't. and offered if i Could speak Mandarin. I couldn't either.
He ended up the call saying he will ask his colleague who couldn't wellverse in English to call me back.

Today I also received a call from this number. The inspector spoke fluent Malay at the beginning but I said I can't understand then turn he to Mandarin.
Asking me knew these two Chinese men named Wong Sze Yong, age 45 & Cai Li Teck age 37?  
The same case is Hong Kong Policemen found my bank account book & IC photocopy when the policemen caught them. He explained that he checked and know I no departure record when doing bank register a/c in HK dated on 17.01.2011 but just kindness to remind me go n settle the case with HK side if im the victim:(
He keep warning me all our conversation will keep record on record machine. Then ask me contact the HK incharge person-Mr. Chan Zhen Fan at 00852-6527-6587 and can miss call him at 017-7194 380. He will return my call ASAP & use the police station no. 03-2266 2222 as record purpose.

I have follow the instruction to call to HK. Now the guy return my call but I never pick up since I have found this story from here...thank you for the sharing...and I think share out the story is very importance for everyone.

I received the call this morning exactly from this phone number and this fella spoke to me in BM. He told me he is from D5 of Bukit Aman and want me to help in his investigation.

I asked him what is D5 and he was liked you don't know D5. I said I don't then he spoke to me in Mandarin Blah 3. I asked him what is this is about and the phone went dead. I purposely called back the number and noone answer.

These fellas has got nothing better to do.

I got a call from the same number 0322662222 which I did not pick up. SCAM!!! I google the number found this website about the number. Thanks guys. Please read my story below why I did not bother to pick up the call.

She gave me a so called reference number and telling me Bukit Aman polis will be contacting me !!!

Then I started asking her questions back.
Her name         Lai Ching Ming
Her office         POS office in Putra Jaya Area !
Her mobile       She said “I don’t have”.
Her office         She can’t tell me. She told me to dial 103   (I know 103 is TM directory line !!!).

With full of suspect … I started scaring back her “not to disturb me” by telling her I would be reporting this matter to Police.

I did call 999 and reported the matter. But they wants me to proceed with nearest Police.

I received a call by Malay female lady representing Pos Malaysia saying that I have a Urusan Seri Paduka Baginda and a warrant to appear in court but unable to deliver to me due to address error.

She said a warran tangkap will be issue by end of today if I didn't acknowledge/call back/etc (cant really remember). She said she can help and said another person will be calling me soon.

I told her no need, just forward all the details/letters/warran to Bkt Aman, I will go there myself to verify, she just hung up.
