got a text message from this number saying "it is important that we speak to you today" blah blah, call them on this number, quoting a reference number etc.
but because it bares a striking similarity to this number 03335565520
like hell i'm gonna call 'em!
so, until proven otherwise, anyone reading this can take it as yet another scam/nuisance [***] ruining your day

Received a text asking me to call them

They are called lowell portfolio a financial company it is a debt purchaser who buys accounts from companies usually becos there is an outstanding debt

Yes they called me too. Just ignore. Called Lowell.

Just received text addressed to someone else from this number, will ignore text as have had messages like this before. However they are a nuisance. Call came from a company called Lowell.

they ask for john george....thats not me...and i have never owed anyything.....#

It's a debt collection agency just phone and tell them they got the wrong person and they will stop texting you same cost as 01 03 numbers or use with your monthly mins.

I keep getting the same message addressed to a Michael Dowling plus regular calls.  I have had my mobile number for nearly 20 years and I have never heard of this person.

Hi guys yep very annoying I kept getting one for a Sandra Henry! I called them they removed my number. The number is part of your inclusive minutes. Annoying but done now.

Got a text from this number today addressed to a name that's not my own.  Quotes a reference number and asked to phone Lovell urgently.  I text back but sms not going through.  Presume like others its a scam. Googled number which appears to be a debt collection agency.

Thank u I'm so glad that it's not just me getting those texts I'm got scared when I read it but thank god u guys said to ignore it thanks guys 👍
