I was really scared, I just got this today. But great I didn't have like this alone and you guys said to ignore them.

Received two messages from Lowells telling me to contact them today. Em no!

If it is a matter of urgency then why the hell don't they ring me as I have no idea what it's about

I'd got a text for a miss Rebecca Carter so phoned them cost to me,told them to remove my number as they sent to wrong number,wouldn't have bothered phoning them if I had seen all these post first as doesn't seem very professional to have sent so many to wrong numbers,if I do get any more I'll just delete as others have done

Got the same txt today  03335565570.........even quoted a name of which is as far as I'm concerned not me and fictitious, and a ref: no.......scammer!!!!! Leave it alone!

Like many of you, I received a text on 23/01/17 asking me to phone the number above and to quote a 9 figure number displayed on the text?  They're a dept recovery agency called Lowell Portfolio .  They purchase people's depts for a nominal sum and seek to profit from recovering the full outstanding amount,   from the deptor?  By using legal threats, they encourage the deptor's commitment to a re-payment plan by direct debit?
 I'm not sure why they have sent me a text as I'm not in financial difficulty and have solved a crisis I once had?      I wonder if they make money out of people using that 03335 number? Is it a premium rate number?  Perhaps if enough people respond to it , it might pay a substancial amount for them?  Although the company seem bonefide in their dept recovery methods,  I cant help thinking there's something immoral about an organisation who  profit from people who have suffered  finanacial crisis, and those's who have understandably panicked about it ,  so I wonder whether they would draw the line at that?  All this is  only a matter of my opinion, and I would ask you to use your discretion, but my instincts tell me NOT to respond to any texts , of this nature, in any way whatsoever?

This is a scam, they called me the other day calling me by someone else's name and then wanted to know what mine is to update it on they're computer and that my number came up on they're system for a ppi claim...scammmmm

Got a text saying ‘Mr Anthony Kane, it is important that we speak to you today. Call Lowell on 03335565570 quoting ref 139917124.’ My name is not and never was Anthony or Kane. So annoying as I get calls like this everyday!!

Debt collection company

They've been calling me every day now for a good 6 months i blocked them 5 months ago but they keep leaving voicemails saying "this is a call for Mr ............." and to call them back and so on
