I called this number back and they identified as Apple Marketing. I asked them if they are exempt from the do not call register and they politely said that they are, the guy offered to take me off their internal call register though which he did. He was polite and friendly so no problem as far as I'm concerned.

hehehehe....Have put the number in my phone and told it not to ring when this number calls and labelled it DO NOT ANSWER so I know what to do (or not do) when/if they call.  Of course I'll only notice their call if I can see my phone ring - due to the no ring setting (it lights up).

I have recieved several calls from this numbe. I typed the whole number into the the search engine and it came up with the address of a panel beating business in M/bourn .  ( Motoractive) I am also on the governments list for banning telemarketing calls.  Thank you to you all for letting me know jkust who it is, now I can do something about it..Regards...Leppy

We have been getting a couple of calls per week from this number over the past month, and I have been reluctant to answer. I figure if they know me, they'll leave a message, but they never do!!
Being fed up with the calls today, I searched the number & found this site - A great idea! Thanks.

Missed many, many calls from this number... never leaves a message. Finally answered it this time, after reading some of your comments so I knew what to expect. Sure enough, they were ringing on behalf of a Charity and looking for donations. I told him politely I dont give Credit Card details over the phone and hung up. It is probably worth answering and telling them you dont make dontations over the phone, otherwise they will probably keep calling. We will see if we get more calls from this number from other charities....

They have been calling me a few times this last week. I have them in my phone address book as "Telemarketing", so I do not answer when they call. I do not support charities that pay people a commission to call and harass me. I am less likely to support them in the future. I already support various charities and I don't like being made to feel guilty over the phone to donate.

This is from Apple telemarketing. When i see the number on caller id i never answer it. Today (thursday 24th september 2009) this number rang me (no joke) 11 times i let the answer machine get it and they never left a message The last time they tried to call me tonight was 7.15pm They should not be able to do this. Next time it rings i am going to give them a piece of my mind.

Great idea from Annoyed! I have added this to my phones phone book as telemarketing (can't believe i didnt think of it) Now each time it rings caller id will tell the whole family it is telemarketing and they wont answer it.

They are calling me same time every night I have 3 kids no time to sit on phone, never leave a msg, now i know who it is ill answer and ask them to stop calling me

Have never answered, incredibly pesky does anybody know a way to block this number?
I don't want to have to change my mobile.

i just got 8 calls in 15 minutes even after asking to be taken off their database.
another call and I head to Vic Police.

Can they F off

2 calls in 2 days, even though I'm on the DNC Register. These guys don't seem to care. I hunted them down and will commence a campaign of reciprocal annoyance.

I have received 5 phones calls from this number today and they don't leave messages. Don't know who it is and after reading all the above comments will not be answering it!  Fed Up!

I get this call quite a bit and yes it is from a charity.  Thank goodness for call display - I just let it go through to the keeper now.  Other than the charities, I do not get hassled at all any more, thanks to do not call.

Calls from this number occur about 4 times per week. I never answer, but use the dial back system to check the last unanswered call...

I am a shift worker and this number continues to call in the middle of the day then hangs up whenever I get up to answer it, Perhaps whoever is responsible would like a few calls at 0200hrs

Have received at least 7 calls from this number tonight. Despite responding to a number of the calls they continue to ring...

yep. two calls a day for the last two days.
nobody home when i answer - then they hang up.
