this is a charity. they are not affected by the do not call legislation.

After numerous calls from this number, I followed the advice on this website and called them.  Following the prompts I then pressed 1 for reception. I asked the receiver to remove me from their call register and he politely said "Sure, no problem".  It will take up to 10 days to take effect as there are a lot of charities they work for, but they will work through them one by one until they have all been removed.
Apparently this is all you have to do to reclaim your sanity.

Unfortunately, charities are exempt from the no call register.

Today every 1hour my mobile phone will ring, when  I answered the call they would hang up.
Later through the day had missed call, did not leave message. Missed called showed on my phone, rang number this afternoon belongs to Apple Charity Group Fund Raiser.

I have registered on 'Do Not Call' register. Still I have been called twicw (thank God) company or person from this number 03-8554-1115, and both were luckily missed by me. Going through the web search, it appears that this number has been harassing a lot of people. Can anything be done to avoid harassment in future? Can we de-bar this number calling us? Anyone is welcomed to help. Thanks.

apple charity services and they are after your money.

No genuine charities keep calling over and over again. There are charity scams who try to convince people that they are trying to help the disadvantaged and the sick. But how do we know for sure ? Anyone can say anything over the phone.

I used to regularly get calls from Apple Telemarketing,I found the only way to stop them is to answer a call and tell them that you do not want them to ring,if necessary ask for a team leader and make it clear that you don't want them to call,no need to be rude but be firm and then they should stop.

I leave my answering machine on 24/7 my friends know that if I am home I will pick it up.
My voice text is "Hi, you've called Dave, if home I'll pick up the phone: Otherwise please leave a message after the tone"    This works great, as soon as the perps hear an answering machine they hang up.

I get regular junk calls from a "private No", who always hangs as soon as you lift the receiver It fixes them as well.
Also put your answering machine on 3 rings only  It also helps to have called ID so you can see who is calling before you answer,. some providers offer it free.

this is clearly part of Centrelink's big brother call centre scam. why do u think charities were exempted from donotcall -so they could anonymously use this for surveillance You will also get pestered by ur phone company and all other exempted businesses. If u are on welfare u are being watched...and recorded

If you do not want to receive phone calls from Apple Marketing - call 1800 811 866 (this is their number) and ask to be placed on Apple Marketing's DO NOT CALL register. It is Apple Marketing calling on 03 8554 1115.You will still receive calls from them if you are registered on the usual 'do not call' because they are ringing on behalf of charities so they are exempt. Just called 1800 811 866 and asked to be put on their own 'do not call' register so hopefully today's call from them will be the LAST!

Happens to me as well

These guys ring me NON-STOP! If I answer, they don't talk, clearly logging the time I've picked up so they can call me the next day numerously at this time.
I rang them & left a message asking them to remove me from their call list, by law (even as a charity) they have to remove you when you ask.
LEAVE ME ALONE!
You guys have left me fearful of the phone & as a consequence I screen all calls now, F**KERS!!
