I too received a missed call and when i called back it was hold music

Added to blocked list. Have had several calls from various numbers and they are always reported on here as being Optus/pretending to be Optus. Having an Optus contract I would guess that the numbers have been infiltrated by an employee/other.

Someone has called me by this number and hang up and its had happen to me 3 times in a few times i call back all i get is music

Keeps calling my phone and hanging up when i pick up

I just received this number n the guy said i can get the new Ipad 4 n charge 39 per month. He know my living address n ask my date of birth. They ask my passport.

I answered and they said, am I speaking with miss 'maiden name' I am from Optus.... I knew it was dodgy as everything with Optus is in my married name.... Now I am still getting a daily call even though I said to bugger off!

Im so worried.. Im quiet naive i guess.. And these people have got my licence number... But thats as far as they got. They had been ringing daily and then when they had the mix up wth my maiden name and married name it clicked.. They are scammers.. Do i need to worry about them having my drivers licence number? They havent got any of my bank account details...

This number has called me 3 times now. I didn't answer the first time and no voicemail was left. 3rd time I answered it and they hung up on me!

Same here, they've called me loads but never say anything. It's driving me mad!

Had calls from this number ever day this week with no message left, hung up on me as soon as I answered. Called it back today and after listening to the hold music for less than 30 seconds it was answered by 'Paul from Optus'. I hung up

Yep same thing, just reported it to optus online.
They have called me every day for the last two weeks.
Answer your phone "Hello, this is police officer *insert name here*." That gets rid of all my telemarketers haha

Bec, no there is nothing they can do with that information without your bank details. So no need to worry.

Have constantly been receiving calls from 0399082726. On some occasions I answer instantly because my phone has been in my hand and the call immediately disconnects. I believe this is a scam, there is no meesage left of my voicemail and it is the same number constantly so I do not call back.

I'd like the relevant authorities to look into this number and cease it from happening.
