After having this number call my phone several times and I have been unable to answer it, I googled and seen this site...... awesome site.

I decided to be a [***] and answer but not speak, glad I didn't speak coz the guy on the other end just started talking the second I hit the answer button and then he talked so fast I didn't even hear what he was saying.

He finally stopped and I didn't speak and he kept going "hello, hello" this went on for 34 seconds until he gave up and hung up.

All he could hear was my radio near my computer at my desk.

Mwhahahahahaha (evil laugh)

Here's the answer guys... according to the response I received from Optus below, these guys are RESELLERS who are poorly trained. So they are seemingly legit, just very bad at what they do. Also explains why they don't block caller ID.

You CAN opt out by contacting Optus and requesting to Opt out of marketing materials. See full transcript below...

Optus may use Personal Information for the purpose of marketing its range of products and services to existing or prospective customers. However you do have the right to Opt-Out of marketing materials, if you reply directly to this email to verify your intent to opt out, I shall process the request for you.

I had another call yesterday, this time I actually said into the phone "stop calling me" and hung up.

I have so far not had a call today.

Just rang the number to be told that they were Optus. I asked why they were ringing me - they told me it was offer me a 25% discount on bundled services. I told them I wasn't interested in to remove me from their call register. Interestinly I had also been recieving calls from 03 9908 2726. I rang this number after I hung up from the call to 03 8199 8010 and it was answered by exactly the same person. He has assured my I am no longer on their contact list.

This number keeps on calling my mobile I've answer but there is no inethereive ad enough I kuldip like to know whom they are and why they are calling me

Scam and con spoke to Optus today and they confirmed that this company has nothing to do with them. A complete scam do not answer these calls.
