stop this prick from calling my number

Received phone call from 03-9999-0050 and told them that I do not need Insurance at all and told them to kindly take my phone number of their list because I had already told them 3 times to do the same so this was the 4th time within 3 days on one day I received a phone twice within 3 hours of each other.

I am registered with Do Not Call and advised them as such, but as soon as I made a complaint to DNCR the phone calls stopped.

It is good to be registered with Do Not Call Register but it doesn't always work I am registered with Do Not Knock as well it I can tell you what that works ever since I receive a visitor from Origin Energy and told me that he would have to take my details back to his office because I am a Pensioner and told me he will contact me by the end of the week.

Well I hadn't received a call from him and didn't worry about it because I was happy with whom I am with and then 3 months later I received a Electricity Bill for $1836.84 from Origin but the problem was the guy that took my details got my address wrong you see I live in a Unit and he got my name on the Whole Apartment Building lol I wish I was that rich to own a Apartment Building but being on a Pension the closet I could afford for an apartment building is a Bee Hive but good on Origin Energy for trying to rip more people off then they already are.

I have recd many phone calls from this company/person.  My mobile rings twice which doesnt  even give me time to get my phone out of my pocket.  I dont know who it is and wish they would stop calling me as i am no longer interested in them.  NB: my mobile no is 0431553511

I have just taken a call from 99990050, from a South African Call centre on behalf of a company called Oz Insurance. I was told that my name, phone number and email address were purchased from Veda.com a media architecture company (that clearly makes a  profit out your private data without your consent, and without giving you a cent for your information).  

I gave the woman who was just doing her job a lecture on privacy. They agreed to remove my name. I have also sent a message to Oz Insurance threatening to make a formal complaint if I received another call as I am on the do not call register - as surely this is a breach of federal law. I was also told that I could just browse the Veda.com site and somehow have my details removed. yeah right.

Wow, these people don't give up. 8 calls over 3 days. I never answer unknown numbers and usually do a Google search on it first, but this is the first one that wont give up. I finally decided to answer and waste them a call and tell them to leave me alone. They are selling a funeral plan and are just confirming your details for a representative to call back later. No thanks, not interested, and please remove my details from your call list is what I politely told them. I was then hung up on. Hopefully that 30 seconds will be worth it and I wont hear from this number again.

Have this same number call me twice everyday for the past 2 days!

This phone number has been trying for a week. They have been all missed calls as I work through the day and dont have my mobile on.  I called them back once to see who they are and it goes to a message all our agents are currently busy at the moment. They have tried calling  twice today already.

At least I know now who it is thats calling so when I am free I will dont be answering .

I have been getting up to four calls a day for at least 6 days from this number. I thought it was Telstra as the other day I answered the phone, thinking it was the same number, and asked angrily 'Why do you keep calling me?' and he said he was from Telstra. I replied that I am not with Telstra, but he was obviously trying to get me to switch and I hung up once he started his pathetic sales pitch. It did sound odd though, as if it wasn't Telstra??? Since then I've had even more calls but it either rings once and immediately hangs up or it rings out...... I started blocking the number as it was getting ridiculous and driving me mad. I actually began to think it was that guy I spoke to originally and thought he deliberately harassing me for hanging up on him. But, it seems from the comments below that you are all saying it is an insurance company. I am unblocking the number now and going to answer so I can find out and if I can get to speak to a supervisor I certainly will be throwing my weight around and complaining big time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Actually, it has been going on for 2wks now and I now remember getting calls from some insurance company. I did initially answer twice, after ignoring many calls, and I asked to be taken off the list. The next day they started calling me again, so I complained again and said, 'I have already asked you to take me off your contact list. I AM NOT INTERESTED!! But, the calls continue. I also tried to call the number back but they say their consultants are busy so please hold and then it hangs up. I have blocked the number, but continue to see who is calling and how many times a day as I've allowed it to send me a message when it calls. I will unblock and complain and then block it again. This is harassment!

OK!!! They called AGAIN, of course, and they claim to be a company called Lifestyle Service in Sth Africa who were ringing on behalf of Insurance Line. Apparently, they gained my number and (details??) from another company called Veda - but the consultant was not able to give me any information about this company. She either refused or had little knowledge about who they were. I continued to ask the question over and over. (I get so frustrated when they call me Maam and repeat themselves and never actually answer any of your questions) She didn't even seem to be aware that the company she is working from, Lifestyle Service, clearly rings on behalf of a number of insurance companies. I proceeded to tell her about how many people are being harassed by this number. I then went onto to speak to the floor manager and explained how many weeks this has been going on, and that it was up to 5 calls a day and that I had already asked them to take me off the list twice. I also informed her that I had knowledge from the internet about how many people were being harassed by this number. She kept apologising for inconveniencing me and said that she would make it her number one priority to take me off the list forever. So, I said, 'So, you clearly don't take people off the list the first time people ask you then? 'Oh, yes we do.', she replies. "Well, this is the third time I have asked you.' I said. She assured me she that I would never be called again. We'll see............ (What a stupid company that thinks they can get any business from people after they harass them for days and weeks!!!!)

I find it rude how they just keep calling the same number. I' ve had 3 missed calls in one day so far, I have a feeling that they' re going to call a bit later today in the evening. They should get the hint, that I don' t want to answer their phonecalls. I' m just going to put them on my rejection call list.

This number rang me yesterday afternoon. I rejected the number cause I don't know anyone with that number. They called back again today. It was like a 5 second ring on my mobile then I picked it up and it stopped ringing. I added them to my rejected senders list cause they keep calling me at every hour of the day.
