received a call from Lifestyle Insurance company , had all my details, claims that they got the details from the marketing dept. Wanted me to allow for a return phone call from a consultant.  Huge call centre, could hear lots and lots of various Indian /English speaking people. The person who took my call, had a accent of an Indian.

Asked several times as to where the information of my phone number , my name etc came from ... refused to answer it . Told them to remove my name immediately

Called frequently, not in my contacts list so wouldn't answer

I have had that many calls from this number ... And always selling insurance of some type but today it was some kind of lifestyle questionaire or something... They know myfull name etc.. where do they get names from and numbers makes me nervous to use my phone to buy things.

this number calls me about 3 times a day in the past week, I just decline there call.

No matter what I say or do, they ignore it. Stop calling me, take me off your list, I am on the do not call register, etc.

I just added it to my reject list onmy samsung so won't even ring on my phone anymore. I'm pregnant and tired so don't need the interruption while I'm getting rest

They called me saying they were some insurance company (never heard of their name) and had all my personal details including home address, they said they got it from a 'LIFESTYLES' survey I did... I haven't done anything like that in months and have only recently moved into my new house which makes me feel a little stalked. The person on the phone was going on and on about funeral insurance but didn't actually try to sell it to me, apparently I'll be blessed with further calls from them. On a humorous note, she did bless me, and tell me something along the lines of she prays for me and my family.

Harrassing constant calls with no answer when I return. When I return call they have Answer machine - and say they are some  .....cked services. Please make them stop calling. Thanks

They are going to confirm your details, and after that you will get heavily harassed with calls from a life insurance company if you agree.

Just got a missed call from them. Apparently you can call 03 9999 0051 and leave your contact details to be removed from the list. (though that may just confirm your number with them as legitimate)
I have added the 0050 number as a reject call on my Samsung as well.

I asked what company they were from and the operator said "lifestyle services insurance group", just say you're 17 and they will leave you the hell alone.

this number call so many time but i never answer any of its call plus i dont answer any number that i dont know so i put there number in my call log block list

Marketing company ringing on behalf of an Insurance firm, asking if I was interested in purchasing Funeral Insurance.  If you say yes, they put you through to the insurance company for the sales.  Told them I was not interested, thanked them for their call, and duly hung up.
As someone who worked for a company selling funeral insurance (as well as other products), this is a waste of money if you buy.  Based on your age, your premium commences quite low, and builds up like CPI (but a totally different calculation based in their favour) over the years.  You might have asked for $10k-$20k cover, but by the time you die they have creamed well in excess of these values from you.
If your want funeral insurance for your family not to have to scrape together the money when you die, deposit a small amount into a bank account every pay/month, and ensure someone like your executor has access as well, so that the money is there when you die.  Enure the executor is osmeone you trust (i.e. Lawyer) and get them to sign an agreement for proper use of the funds as intended.  If you deposit more than needed, bonus to them to pay for a huge wake in your memory.  Note, if you are the only signatory, when you die the probate period prevents anyone accessing your money until the will can be honoured (usually 30 days or longer if contested), and it is the beneficiary that then gets it all, and they can do with it whatever they want.
I have seen this before, money was there for a fantastic funeral, and the cheap miser benefactor gave the poor dude a paupers funeral; cardboard box, quick service, paupers burial (unmarked grave).  

Kaz, they are calling form overseas, so they do niot have to abide by the "do not call" register...only Australian companies are bound by this.  
Also exempt are Government propaganda calls and charities...and a few others.
