Called twice today and hung up

I got a call from this number yesterday too - i am in Tasmania with Telstra

Why bother to even crack your brain who called from this no. It's so obvious when the tel. no. starts with 9999xxxxx, as it is a voip no. Just ignore weird nos and you don't even have to return any of these weird calls.If the call was important, they will sms you  .......who hasn't got a mobile phone thesdays????
Probably got your nos. from some competition entries somewhere!!!

i am trying to call no one is answering

I'm with Vodafone and in Melbourne. The area code 03 means its coming from either melbourne or tasmania. I've had 2 missed calls in the last 24 hours.

All these complaints and no answers - I dont want to go on the do not call register just for one company.
Does anyone know who it is? like everyone else the indian voice mail message is impossible to understand

They have been calling me too for about two weeks, maybe once a day. I have never answered it and they never leave a message... I was assuming it was debt collectors, however judging by everyone else's comments I guess not.

Two days in a row i have got calls from this number and today i answered and no replied.

I checked my phone, and found two missed calls from this number, then i tried calling it three times and a a voice of an indian woman saying leeprok australia blah blah blah...

I've had an Optus prepaid sim for only 2 weeks. Only using it for data, and have only given the number to 2 other people, my wife overseas, and a local friend.

I've been getting daily missed calls from this same number for the past week. Someone is either cold calling or got the number from the operator themselves.

This number called me today, when i answered they hung up then when i returned the call it went straight to msg bank and the voice is so quiet you cant hear who called.. sounds suss!

This number has called me more than 5 times now, answered twice, talks about funeral plans. continues to call although you tell them your not interested.

I've had several missed calls from this number over the past 3 weeks,always in the evening. Won't bother answering after everyone's feedback. I'm on Optus in Sydney.

Keep getting the same thing... about 2-3 missed calls a day, call back and get an almost indecipherable Indian woman speaking. Driving me mildly insane....

what the hell, everyone facing same problem, they still calling me and nobody in the world knows my number because I have two phones. stupid Indian and when I called them back, they didn't answer. they are really annoying btw I'm with Optus and I'm from Sydney.

Been getting up to a dozen calls a day for nearly a week.
Finally was able to speak to spomeone on the other end,
it was an indian lady saying she was from LBA and wanted to discuss
funeral plans.  Told her not interested and hung up.

still getting calls every 15 minutes to half hour.
what can I do? it is so annoying as I run a business that is reliant on phone bookings.

This number keeps calling me, every day, sometimes twice a day and then hanging up.

Is there anything i can do?

I finally answered the phone call. They're trying to sell funeral plans. I was like, no. *hangs up* I also got an Australian sounding lady. Hopefully now that I have answered the call, they will leave me alone.

Get calls from same Indian woman answer machine thing. Never leave a message, when I ring can never get through. With telstra but Only brought this phone a couple weeks ago, how the [***] did they get my number
