i am in SA and have received a number of calls from this number 4 since friday- i do not answer calls where i don't know the number.

When i tried calling back get an answering machine but can not understand where they are from

Would really like this to stop

I too have been receiving these calls.  I have also been receiving calls from 07 3123 4102.
Now these are telemarketing groups from New Deli, India.  even after you tell them you are not interested, they keep calling, offering funeral plans.  
They will call, then when you answer they hang up.  If you are like most, you will call the number back to see who it was, at which point some Indian proceeds to do his speal about the offered funeral insurance.  
These people will harass you over and over again.
I have been doing some investigating.
the number 03 9999 5956 is from a company called Lead Broker Australia.  Don't let the name fool you.  They are India based.  They call on behalf of another company called Insurance Marketing Services, which they state is Sydney based.  I was unable to find any details pertaining to this name, however I did find that there is links to one called Blueinc.  Blueinc is the parent company of IMS I think.  The details of this company are as follows:

The next number I get calls from (07 3123 4102) relates to a company called Freedom Insurance.  Their contact details are as follows:

If you are like me, you are pretty sick of these calls.  I have started to call and harass these companies, taking up their time with pointless phone calls, and making complaints about the harassment from the Indian companies, in the hope that they will learn just how annoying these calls are.  
If you are annoyed too, then do the same.  It doesn't cost much to call them.  And it gives you a bit of satisfaction knowing that you are annoying them as much as they annoy you.  
If you have any other numbers that call and harass you feel free to e mail me on rodslovakas@gmail.com, and I will try to find out who they are for you.

Getting a lot of these calls to my work mobile which is interesting, as it is not given out to too many people there is also a Sydney and Brisbane number calling as well.

I've been getting calls from this number twice a month for the past 6 months. They never leave a message and when I do answer its either silent or light breathing sounds. I based in Sydney and am on the Optus network.

Called the Blue Inc company and yes the 99995956 number is them! Call them and complain I'm now waiting for a supervisor to returne my call!

yea that does nothing for robot diallers and spammers overseas..

hahahaha you'll be waiting 50 years... and it will get you nowhere.

I have had several calls.  It is 24/7 Insurance Line and they are trying to sell Funeral Plans.
Each time they call they claim they are adding my number to the do not call list, but i still; keep getting calls.  I am currently preparing a complaint to the telecommunications ombudsman.  I strongly urge others to do the same if they are repeatedly calling you.

I just saw this in another thread - I keep getting calls from these people!! I wouldn't be surprised if they're looking after a whole bunch of companies. They say they're in Melbourne but I know the person who I spoke to was in Delhi.

These people keep calling me every day at least 5 times If I answer the phone and talk they are rude and if I just ignore them they hang up on me. Why do I have to deal with this ????

They call me then  wait for me to answer then hang up.

I got a call from this number and another phone number too based in the Eastern States (i'm in Perth). They are selling funeral insurance. They're persistent  because i've already told them no once.

Just another annoying unsolicited caller. I refuse to answer the phone unless I recognise the number or am expecting a specific call. If it's important they will leave a message.
