Had a guy wanting to by a car off of me "Stephen" Lewry this time.

Hi, i would have come for an inspection and pay cash but I'm currently out in the middle of the desert at the moment on a nickel mine-site for 5 more weeks and due to the nature of my work,phone calls making and visiting of website are restricted but i squeezed out time to check this advert and send you an email regarding it. I have gone through the car on the website and i am highly interested in it.

Well i understand you and i know why you don't want the money to be Paid Via PayPal. i guess due to the 2.4% they will deduct for the transaction. I will take care of that. PayPal is highly secure and reliable. I used it most of the time to purchase Goods on eBay and it's secure. And for the Payment i will hold on till when money is cleared into your account before coming down for the Pick-up. I want to use PayPal acct cos i don't have access to my bank account online as i don't have internet banking, but i can pay from my PayPal account, as i have my bank account attached to it.

If you don't have PayPal account yet, it is very easy to set up, go to www.paypal.com.au  and get it set up, after you have set it up i will only need the e-mail address and name on account you use for registration with PayPal.

Please send me your paypal account details or invoice so i can make the payment for the car.

Also i will attach my drivers license to you for the paper work/transfer of ownership as all the details needed are on it.

It's really annoying to know people like this are out there but we can not do much about it

looks like the same guy to me now using Hotmail wants to pay using PayPal lucky i checked on paypal scams and his story is almost the same as on there,s except  he is  working in a nickel mine in the desert so thanks to all you guys who warn people

amazing i have just put an add in cars guide a few days ago and guess what i also got the same reply as you from stephen john lewry including his license picture as i also questioned someone buying a car sight unseen offering a courier pick up
so i Google  scams on pay pal then Google his name and saw your post  thanks mate you saved me alot of heartache

Same deal. What he is trying to do is set you up to send money OS via Western Union
