Just rec'd message from 04 2825 5768, when checked it read "Message cannot be displayed".  Googled number and came up with this site, very useful for checking suspicious numbers.

My boyfriend received an SMS (with "Message cannot be displayed") from +61 428 255 768 but, unlike previous reports, it came up as "Bbb" in the caller id.

Neither of us know a "Bbb" nor did we find the name or number on a hard copy list that details all of my boyfriend's contacts.  Weird.  It was only by chance that I Googled the number and found this website.

It's obviously an Australian number as it has the +61 prefix and the Message Centre number is +61 4187 706 700.  The offending number has also somehow managed to save itself in the phone's contacts memory.

We haven't messaged or rung the number instead, deleting both the message and the self-saved contact.

ditto.... my hubby has this number msg him daily... wish it would bug off... so annoying!!

it is telstra. was mucking around with my phone and mms'd a photo to my own number. i then checked my log and it showed this number, rang it and it said it was disconnected, so googled it and voila, am not the only person so it has to be telstra, and by the way i got that valentine's message as well and it was from telstra and my phone was able to receive it. Hope this helps...

yeh i got a strange picture message from this number and at the time i was with my wife . The picture was a young naked lady on her bed bending over showing her anus , because of that i,ve sadly been divorsd . I tryd 2 call that number back but its disconnected .

Okay that same number is in my call log yet i never recieved any msg from it and when call it says it is disconnected.. my partner is now asking questions.

my bf got text in his log from this number. I thought the other woman scenario 2. in the msg inbox there was no msgs - like he had deleted it but i was with him at the time the log said it was sent and he didn't recieve any txt msgs, was only that we were looking 4 another number in his log that we noticed it? good way to cause relationship breakups hey?/

I get text but no message at least twice a week. Wish they answer so i can give them a gob full!

thank god i googled this number..i found it in my husbands phone and it always come up as msg recived in hes logs..i didnt ask him about it as he wld think im thinking hes having an affair..but i noticed he never replied to the msg..thats when i thght i wld google it and see what it came up with..i noticed its been in hes logs for a few months now..wld really like to no what its about....another number to keep an eye out 4 is o428510912...its not connected yet we have been charged for texting it and calling it..at weird times in the morning..now im going to ring telstra and give em a piece of my mind..

Its a message forwarding number used by Telstra to notify you of a failed MMS attempt.

This happens when somebody sends you an MMS and your phone is too crap to receive them or you don't have MMS turned on. You will either get a "invalid message" warning, or the "go to telstra.com to download" message.

How bizzar reading all these comments on mystery message, wonder what it is all about?  I just received a message from this number for the first time however it  only read " Not Supported", my phone is very basic. Glad to have found this site to know about this number.

Last night, i went through my partners log as usual :P and happened to find the number 0428 255 768 in it. I was hell mad n immediately thought the worse, as i had looked in the inbox n not seen a msg from this number so i assumed my partner had deleted the msg and had something to hide from me... All night he was re assuring me that he never even recieved a msg from ne unknown numbers so he had no reason to delete anything n sure as hell had nothing to hide. I was determined to get to the bottom of it, it just so happens i typed the number in google n came across this site... :S

I looked in my partners log again the other day after clearing when i found this number in it last time n what do you know, there it was again.... :S

This number has been in my hubby's log also but he swears he doesnt know anything about it and there is nothing in his inbox as though it has been deleted. The ironic thing for us is our marriage is two years into recovering from an affair so lucky that I am patient enough to do my research first or my marriage would be over
