Similar experience to all other postings here although I have only had one call.  That sounded so 'iffy'  I hung up almost immediately.  Foreign, possibly Asian male, knew my name and asked if I was the talktalk account holder - very obviously an overseas call judging by the call quality.... Needless to say, I have a talktalk account which has been reasonably satisfactory to date but I can easily change if this gets out of hand...

just had this number call me no one on the other end. very annoying.I think it is Talk Talk

got a call from this number this afternoon saying they were calling from Talktalk and could I give them my name and address to confirm who I was. Explained to them I dont give my personal details to people who ring me up and that I dont need the anti-virus protection for my broadband they were offering 'for free'.
After calling talktalk to complain I was informed talktalk didnt call me and that it was a scam. My issue is how the hell did these people get my number after I left BT primarily because I wanted a new number that I wouldnt get these cold callers on. Is anyone else having issues with their TalkTalk number??? I know for a fact I havent given my number out to any dodgy sites so my theory is that someone at Talk Talk is passing their customers numbers onto these companies.

I think it is AOL as we have had many missed calls from this number.  With hold your number and ring it back which is what I did
