I have just answered the phone and a foreign lady said she was calling about my computer.  I told her that I knew it was a b****y scam and put the phone down.
Clearly they are doing the rounds again!

Just had a call and they said they are calling about my business rates and did I know that my rateable value had gone up and I was paying too much. yes I know i'm paying too much but there isn't anything you can do about it. I hung up

Got a call today, he said he was from the computer maintenance company there was a problem with my computer. This is the eighth call this week. When I go in dramatic fashion "oh no a problem" they hang up!!


Beginning to think this is Indias largest employment, ScammersRus.

A foreign accented man from Road Traffic Management said they'd had a report saying we'd had a car accident. I said 'No they haven't because we haven't' and hung up. Had this call before but from a different number!

Just had a call from Gilbert. (Gentleman had an Indian accent).

He informed me that he was calling about a problem with my computer.

So I started singing

Gilbert is a scammer,
That wears a scammers hat
He lives next to scammers, in a council flat

..... needless to say he got the message and hung up!!

received call from this number, no one spoke, just waited then hung up. I have phone with different ringtones, so I give spam calls their own, so I know as soon as it rings it's a spam call. (If they have phoned from that number before).Fed up running to the phone thinking it's important call.

I received a call from this number yesterday evening saying he was a specialist from the Windows Service Centre in Los Angeles California. He told me my laptop was corrupted and if I didn't give him control of the computer he was going to block my IP address.  I tried to resaon with him about unsolicited calls about this type of problem and he became offensive. I then terminated the call.
PS Never give in to these people, if you think you got computer problems seek out a reputable computer shop locally.

A new "Ignore it" number.

A new one for me; if they want to ring during the day they're wasting their time - however, since it seems to be another computer scam, they've been blocked.

Had a call from this number asking for my husband by name.  Couldn't catch the name of the company, but the accent was foreign.  Got a bit annoyed as I'd had a call a few minutes earlier (caller display just 0123!) asking for me by my name, same voice and same mumbled company name.

Just had a call from this man telling me my computer was being hacked into and he could help!!! Yh right! Told him I didnt have a computer so what the hell was he talking about, he soon put the phone down!

Got a call on Monday, no one spoke
Received a call today, a woman and man started to laugh then they hung up.

Got a call from this number stating my computer was full of virus's if I refused to comply my computer would be blocked from accessing the web, told the thick indian acsent man that he was talking complete rubbish and lying. So then passed me through to a higher authority and again made threats to cut off my web access repeated the above to him, told him he was wasting my time and telling lies. Dread to think how many people will be scammed by these people on this number Must Be Stopped !    

I to have been experiencing a very high volume of calls from these unsolicited calls, (Nuisance calls) and have found it necessary to purchase a Call Saint, It turned out to be the best bit of kit ever.  I was getting upwards of 20 calls a day! And now I have complete control of them, even if I answer I can immediately block the call which cuts them off and prevents any further contact, (if they call again it still appears on the Call Saint but does not ring with full information of time, date of attempted call.  I am now lucky! If I get 2 a week, it is so easy to set up and has free Call Saint, web support.

Alex from some consumer survey group -wasn't selling me anything, he insisted. Tried to keep me on the phone despite me telling him I was at my desk working and can't talk about my consumer habits now. When can I call you - tried twice to get me to say when. Bye Alex, I blocked your number.

Also, Alex had my full name so I'm on a database somewhere.

They are continually calling claiming to be an accident company, asked to speak to a supervisor & they hung up on me.....Frustrating [***]!

Claimed to be from Microsoft and that he'd been able to identify a serious fault on my computer. He was unable to give me any information that would confirm he was genuine. Hung up when I said I'd call Microsoft UK.
