Similar call today from this number from some silly foreigner - told him to go to the toilet in a very rude manner - and have tagged the number as a crap call in case they ring again - about time this nonsense was stopped once and for all

Had phone call, no one spoke, when I called back it went straight to engaged

I have a golden rule never give out any info on phone  NONE you do not who they are you only know who THEY say they are

I asked one such caller to produce ID, they said they could not via phone, I said exactly my point lol goodbye

Called me at 10:25 am today (Christmas Day). Something to do with my computer. Told him what I thought, in not a very polite way I might add and he hung up. Do these people have nothing better todo

Call from this number at 11 05 today. They're now blocked.

So its Christmas Day and hackers never sleep! Just got a call on this number from "Richie Love" telling me I had a problem with my computer and the speed it starts up. Being a computer engineer i decided to play along! I asked which of my 6 PCs had the problem. Apparently its the Windows one. I asked which one - Windows 7, 8.1, 2012R2 or XP? I apparently needed to start any one of them. So I asked if I should use the physical one or the virtual one and by the time I had voiced my concerns about the BIOS and the CMOS, he had hung up - shame I was having so much fun :(

Anyway, seriously don't be fooled into installing any software. Better still don't answer and if you do, blind them with science!

Just had call, didn't recognise it as UK number so didn't answer, and checked number online, seems a scam number from other posts

Got a call from this number saying there was a problem with home pc/laptop,told caller thanks for making me aware and then hung up on him.

Called by this number twice today.

First caller could not hold a conversation in English so I offered to sell her a goat, then I pretended to be a goat, managed 4:04 on the phone for that one.

Second caller I claimed to be a 7 year old goat, including goat impressions etc, managed 5:24 on the phone for that one.

Needless to say I had nothing better to do.

They claim to be from "British Guide" and are trying to conduct survey in our area (sic).

Just got a call from this number from a foreign call centre, India? Claiming that there was a problem with my computer and could I turn it on and they would tell me how to fix it. When challenged which company he worked for just said it was Microsoft licenced company.

Nobody said anything at the other end.

Call this morning at 9.30am

Strong accent difficult to understand, caller said he was called Mike, I couldn't make out the name of the 'company' he stated.  He asked to speak to "Mr (mispronounced our name)" they are doing a survey in the area and did I have a few minutes.  I normally put the phone down straight away but the use of our name made me worried.  This is the first 'scam' call I've had where a name was asked for, I said no-one of that name was here and ended the call.

Call from a very rude foreign man insisting I had a l lap top which I do not Put the phone down on him if I get another call from this number I shall be very rude back!

Two calls this week from these people.  Today's was at 8am.  Started about windows corruption on my laptop so I told him he certainly wasn't up-to-date on my situation because my computer had crashed before Christmas and I hadn't had chance to replace it.  He slammed the phone down on me.

Just had a call from this number. As I've got caller display and didn't recognise the number I didn't bother to answer. After reading other comments glad I didn't bother. How do you get allocated a number like this as it obviously doesn't contain a valid std code.

Yet another scam call where number comes up on caller display but 1471 says from a network unable to transmit numbers. I seem to get at least 3 calls a day from different numbers but same result from 1471. I don't answer & always check on this site, so grateful it here :-)
