nearly got scammed,,received 2nd email tonight and same again saying,they have moved to isle of man and will deliver with out viewing(email was the same as other posts)..full price will be £490

These people are now trying to scam people with horses too. Currently They have an ad on preloved and horsemart for PINTO OLDENBURG HORSES using photos that look like they're in the states. £900 each which would be way below market value anyway, DO NOT FALL FOR IT PEOPLE AND PLEASE DO NOT BE STUPID ENOUGH TO SEND MONEY WITHOUT BEING FACE TO FACE. They are using the email chestblake@gmail.com and the number 07748397797 AND +23779731903

Just nearly been had. 'Chest' is now selling two horses after they have had a car accident and cant ride again!!!! Disgraceful!!

This scum bag is trying to sell Siberian Husky Puppies on 'FreeAds.co.uk', I have reported them on that website after we called them after numerous emails sent and recieved.
Be aware that this poor excuse for a human has done this for years.

When I sent an enquiring email asking about the puppies I got a very generic response ( Which shows he does this all the time) and straight away I had a niggling feeling that this was bad, but I carried on giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Here is an example of the first email you will get back (they obviously modify it for whatever animal they are 'selling')...

They say they are on the Isle of Man and constantly repeat themselves to try to deter you from going over there to get the puppy so they force you choose the delivery to get more money out of you...

NEVER pay the deposit without meeting the breeder face to face.
As you can see they DEMAND that 'you will be making a deposit payment of £130', for a puppy that only costs £330 you DO NOT pay a deposit of £130 that is far too high!!!

Now my dad was as edgy as I was so he wanted to write a reply to them asking them some questions.
Whilst writing the email I decided to try and call these people one more time, there was an answer and my dad spoke to him 'CHEST BLAKE' was his name!!!

Dad asked him questions and he answered them correctly but when er asked what job he does in the Isle of Man as in the first email he stated that 'We just move over here in Douglas,Isle of Man due to our job
transfer' and when we asked this question he pretended the line was breaking up, and never answered the question!!
He i.e. 'Chest Blake' was obviously foreign, he said he was Polish but that was not a polish accent!! he sounded Irani maybe, uncertain on this.
I then googled the address (24 Victoria Avenue, Douglas, Isle of Man, IM1 2LW) and I fell upon this website and we said we would end all communications, but dad decided to scare him just a little bit so he still finished writing his email and sent it... here it is...

Little things like 'you will be making a deposit payment of £130' ring alarm bells with me. This is a demand rather than a business arrangement. This is quite a large deposit to loose if this is fraudulent.
The answer may be as simple as you are using translation software owing to English not being your first language.
Please do not be offended by my enquiring email, as a police officer I merely wish to protect all concerned.
You have stated on the internet that you have recently moved to the Isle of Mann from Westminster, may I ask your name and where in Westminster you lived? I work in the Houses of Parliament and will quickly be able to verify your details with where you used to live.

I know this thread is old now but have to say I'm glad I found it as I very nearly handed over money for puppies today. I thought the price was a but cheap for the puppy I wanted. The email I received from these people sounded too good to be true. I emailed back asking ti speak in person and told them I only lived am hours drive away and would like to meet tomorrow to meet the people and the pups. They immediately emailed back telling me they had suddenly moved to the Isle of Man,  to the address stated above many times, because of a death in the family and work commitments. It wasn't until I Google the address that I found this lage and im so happy I did!!!!!
Be careful! If it sounds too good to be true it is!!

Just an update to my post above ^^ upon replying to the email I received from these people, I sent them my mobile number and asked that they contact me so we could talk in person about the dogs. I received an email back asking for ALL of my details including my passport number as apparently this was needed to transfer a puppy!!!!
I replied saying I'm no longer interested and I would not be paying any money without seeing a dog face to face first nor would I be sending any details.
This was last night and I have since been recieving phone calls from a withheld number today, every 5 minutes this number is phoning and when I answer they put the phone down. I have contacted my phone company who have traced the number and blocked it.
I have also contacted the police in regards to these people asking for personal information especially my passport info.
Please please do not fall for this scam.

I emailed this awful excuse for a human being just a few hours ago.He was advertising on Dogs and Puppies.
I had a funny feeling things were not right when it said he was in Folkestone but he said he had moved to The Isle of Man in his email.Was not surprised when I found it was a scam after googleing him.Then found this site which is a Godsend.
Do hope other people do some research and don't get caught out.

Have you contacted the website where you saw the ad?.  Perhaps they would like to know that their company is being used to perpetrate a fraud. If everyone who has been conned or nearly conned contacted the relevant websites perhaps the word would get round.  You can always point the web sites in the direction of these posts.

My teenage son has been enquiring about a horse that was being advertised on Freeads.  Same story that he and his wife had moved to Isle of Man because of a bad car accident they couldn't ride anymore because of it.  Convinced my son that they loved their horses and only wanted to sell them to a good home.
Fortunately, I insisted that we wouldn't make a decision until we went over to see them.  The emails then stopped.  I then researched the email address to find all the other comments on here.
PLEASE BE AWARE, they were aware that my son was a teenager and were doing their best to get him to send over £400 deposit, which fortunately he didn't.

So glad you did not part with any money.Reported them again on Dogs and Puppies.They are using same advert but more different names and locations!!!!!!!!.I told D+P's they should monitor their website more.

I saw an advert for two horses on Horsemart. I emailed and received a really odd reply, again saying they had relocated to the Isle of Man. I googled his name 'Chest Blake' and found this thread. I contacted Horsemart and I am pleased to say they have taken the advert down.

Just got the same email above following my enquiry on dogs and puppies. I'm looking for a Rottweiler pup, but the email didn't sound right and I searched 'chest Blake' on google and found this!
